DS Games you missed???

Hey guys! P2 here! You guys enjoying your 3DS/New 3DS handhelds? Great! I bet you all found some pretty good games over the years,haven't you? I admit,these 3DS games are pretty in,and I haven't even explored most of them yet! It kinda reminds me of the days of my DS Lite.My first ever game for that system was Dragon Quest IX.Good memories. There were also a few more games I wanted to along the way,but never got a chance to get. ;-; Like Lunar Knights,Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Edges of Time,and so on.

Just a question:Haveyou had any games on DS that you missed,and still want?

FFCC: Echoes of Time

I played the first version of the game, Ring of Fates and I really loved it. The 4 player multiplayer was soo fun. >.< I never got a chance to get the second game though. People say the story in that game sucks, but I really love it and I wanted to buy the second game but never got the time to buy it. D:

I did not pick up "The World Ends With You", because I had not heard about it. I am now waiting for one of my video game buying sprees to pop up, as it's on the list of games I will get at all costs. I haven't found it cheap anywhere near me though, but that won't stop me from looking!!!

@rawrrie : :0 You played Rings of Fate??? I don't know why those two games get so much hate,they're so much fun! I never played it,but my younger siblings have the DS and Wii versions of Echoes of Time.I wanted to play with them SO badly,but I never got a chance to actually get it. I'm thinking about getting it right now,though!

@pk-espurr :Oh,my oldest brother @Kakea has that game.It was a rare find at our GameStop.It looked pretty good,though I never saw through the whole story.I hope you get it on your next buying spree!

Maybe if you get lucky you'll find the GBA Lunar Knights game

I missed out on a few DS games but none seemed to spark my interest as much and these I could live without but are mildly interested in: Mega Man Battle Network and the other series similar to it. Kingdom Hearts (the one where you meet Organization XIII). Mario Kart DS. I played some boss battles in it and I want them back ;-;. And Super Mario 64 DS, a decent game that tested the DS potential.

I really want mario and luigi bowsers inside story, zelda spirit tracks and pkmn mystery dungeon blue rescue team. Never had the chance to pick them up and now I have so many wii u and 3ds games to buy, I am probably never gonna experience them.

@Artisan :At one point I wanted a Kingdom Hearts game for GBA,but then decided against it later on. (Not sure why,though. .-. ) Oh,but you should totally get Mega Man:Battle Network! That's a great one,I love it! Also,Super Mario 64 DS was in our possession, but it later just...vanished... .-.

@Eyeballz60 on't worry,dude.If you still have that spark,you won't really care if you have a newer system or not.You'll always try to get something you missed.Just like my siblings do! If you still want it,you'll get to it one day.

Until this day,I still am in hopes that I get to play the the two other games of the main Ace Attorney trilogy(Phoenix Wright -Ace Attorney 1/PW-AA Trials and Tributions),The Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks,Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver and Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum,as well as The Last Window:Secret of Cape West(a sequel to Hotel Dusk:Room 215,which I did play and enjoy).There are just too many games coming out at once,and let's not forget about the storm that took over the world known as the amiibo.

You should get it!!! It's so much fun! I love the game play, the story creeps me out a little but it was fun!!! I'm not sure if it's possible to do everything in the game..,(especially since barely anyone playing the game) I'm planning on getting it again on android (as soon as I buy another one!!!) They have a app version that is playable, of course without needing 2 screens!!

I never actually got pokemon diamond/pearl/black/white/b2/w2. I wasn't in to the pokemon games when I got my DS Lite. It wasn't until I got Omega Ruby and Y for the 3ds that I realized how much I liked the games. Along with those I still want pokemon conquest and animal crossing. Those games were ones my friends had and I never had a chance to get.

Sometimes they have a whole lot of old games there, sometimes for a reasonable price! Hope you find what you're looking for! @Kakea : You still have games you missed on Ds??? Well I'll be, bro! You should make a list and track down the ones you want most! @lemonpoppymuffin :I know how you feel. After getting the 3DS, I was sure I would forget about the past games. ...You see this thread, right? XD

There were a few Pokemon Ranger games that I really wanted to play but I never got the chance to play them. I've only played the original Pokemon Ranger (as far as I know) and the other ones looked really cool o: That also comes to the fact that a Pkmn Ranger game for the 3ds might be great, though it's mostly touch screen interface xD

Last Christmas I got into the shin megami tensei series, starting with smt iv for the 3ds. I also decided to go back and try out SMT Strange Journey for the ds. The atmosphere for that game is incredible, and you can really sense that Altus went all out into creating this dark atmosphere. Sadly, it's waaaaay too hard for me, so I'm still stuck in the first dungeon ;-; I also missed The World Ends With You and 999, which sucks as they're both games I desperately want to play, but I either can't find them or I only find them once I have no money >~<

@Bearidan: I've heard about those series. I dunno if it was really popular or not because it didn't go with the original formula. But I thought it looked pretty cool. :3. @Toxic: Oh, Atlus! Now that's a company known to make you think when playing RPGs! I still haven't finished Izuna 2 yet... Also, my brother had The World Ends With You. It looks exciting, but didn't get to see much of it. I think it was still in GameStop last I checked.

Lucky you. The stupid game isn't in any GameStop near me. I only saw it a few times, and that was before the 3ds, when I didn't know what the game was like. Now I'll never find it except on eBay. And stupid 999, literally, it only appears whenever I don't have the money, then once I do, it disappears. Stupid freaking game >~<

@ToxicWolf1132 :Geez, talk about rotten luck.. Do you ever save money for a rainy day, so when it comes you, you can take it by surprise? Or can you check online for it somewhere? I'm sure some site out there has it for a really considerable price!

Ehh it depends. Sometimes I'll save just enough money for a game I want, but most of the time I'll just keep the money and spend it only if something grabs me when I get to gamestop. I don't have a job though, and the only money I get comes from family during certain holidays, so I only get about 20 bucks every few months, more if it's my birthday or Christmas. I'll probably buy it online at some point, but not anytime soon, not with my current amiibo addiction adding on to my already huge list of games I want to buy

Same here!!!!!! And odd job, lol. That's my only window of light right now that I can get money. Well, my aunt said I can ask her for some if it's not to much, but.. I dunno, I feel bad just asking for it without doing something for her in return. ;-; My other siblings feel the same way, but.... I think I shouldn't let opportunities like this go by! Gah! You see,the problem is that I don't buy on pages like Amazon or GamesStop,with the factor that my parents don't like using online much for buying stuff,and that I can't even use a credit card on the Wii U/3DS eShop,so as you can see,I'm restricted to buying games on stores locally,or by asking my dad to buy games from Europe for my Wii,DS or 3DS whenever certain times of the year arrive.
Speaking of which,here's anothe reason that toughens the situation of DS games I still want to play.Yes,I could still ask from my dad to buy some DS games on Easter,my birthday in July,and Christmas,but yet again,the problem is that there just so many games coming at the same time for my european 3DS that it ends up complicating whether I would ask certain games from my dad,and,as you could see,it isn't a small list I have here.
Thanks for the advice though.I'll see what I can do regarding this subject.

i missed spirit tracks after i beated my phantom hourglass it lost so now i wante spirit tracks and i am going to get it this year with phantom hourglass which i lost when i completed it and i missed FE re-make but people say its terrible so im kinda glad of not buying that game tbh
