Dual types are Pokemon with two types such as Blaziken which has both Fire and Fighting. There are many pokemon who possess two types but you do you generally like to have them in your party? it means more weaknesses but you can have more advantages over types. Or maybe you like to stick to single types generally? give your reasons. ^.^

I prefer Dual types, mainly because the Pokemon user can get more STAB. Single types are nice, since they can have a bit less weaknesses than Dual types, but when it comes to power, Dual types are better IMO. Also, when you have a Dual type in your party, that could allow you to have a bit more variety of types and such.

Single types have less weaknesses than dual types while dual types have more.I use dualtypes mostly though plus there aren't many single type pokemon which are good that I know of except for mewtwo.

I like duel types more..mainly because the move sets can have more variety than single types alone

I like dual types because they tend to have better moves and looks. There is more variation to what they can learn so you can find the perfect balance more easily. Plus, somehow they seem more interesting. Just...more dynamic I suppose.

Dual types are offensive, rarely defensive, single types are usually but not always defensive with a lot of options (like normal types in general). Dual types have more advantages because they are more unique and have a better offensive variety. Pesronally it's hard to find a Pokemon that is competitive and not dual type. Hippowdon is my exception.

I don't generally care whether a Pokemon has single or dual typing, but it's true that dual typing offers a wider variety of STAB and type advantages. However it would depend on the typing, no matter how strong the Pokemon it'll be torn apart fast if it's typing leaves it with a ton of weaknesses (i.e. Pokemon with the Steel/Rock typing).

I prefer dual types. They are way cooler

Dual types definitely possess a 4x weakness to certain types sometimes like Malamar has 4x weakness against Bug type, Charizard against Rock type etc. However, some Dual typings are actually amazing and give the Pokemon resistance against Super-effective hits. Charizard X takes normal damage from Water types etc.

I prefer Dual Types.
