Duck Hunt Dog, Banjo Kazooie alt? Anyone?

The moment I saw those two in action 1 thing came into my mind..! Banjo Kazooie! Since I thought it was impossible to see the duo in Smash Bros I was thinking, is there an alternate costume that makes Duck Hunt Dog look like him?

I think it's more of a coincidence than an actual reference (< In any case, we'll know it later if it was one), since Banjo-Kazooie was a licence that used to belong to Rare, before they were bought by Microsoft.

But the theory of the reference is still plausible, since Rare also edited many Donkey Kong games, and maybe Nintendo wanted to make a reference to them, who knows ?

I highly doubt there will be a costume that will make 'Duck Hunt Dog' look just like 'Banjo Kazooie'; similar, then maybe! No one really know Mr. Sakurai antics, I think Nintendo just wanted to make an indirect reference to Banjo Kazooie, and I can tell it worked, got the SSB fan-base thinking!

I personally believe it is a throw back to banjo kazioo. Even though they aren't owned by Nintendo anymore , a lot of people associate them with nintendo due to their 64 titles . Those two games were very popular and I heard countless pleads for banjo to be in smash , so this is probably the best we are going to get.

I know I noticed that too! It just makes me even more sad that Microsoft bought Rareware and made then make stupid Kinects games that's no one plays. What happened to the awesome games like Banjo Kazzoie and Conkers Bad Fur Day!

Actually, there's a recolour of them that looks a lot like Banjo and Kazooie, it's pretty great.
