DuckDuckGo is an search engine, that doesnt filter informationc etc.
Besides it also seems like it gives more links to less popular pages than google
What do you think?

Plus it doesn't track you. It emphasizes privacy.

I love it, and so does @Alex ~o~

Mate, DuckDuckGo is the bomb. Google Chrome? Nah. Duck Chrome.

First time hearing about it. It sounds like one of those search engines that they sneak into a program installation. >.<

Not at all. Unlike those Bing and Yahoo engines, DDG doesn't try to make money out of anything. So they won't try to force you to use their thing. On the contrary, they are trying to help. If you don't want help, your loss, no one will impose it on you.

But I don't like it :p
I put it as my home page and as my default engine for FF on two of my computers for two weeks, to put myself in "I'm using it" condition (because it's easy to criticize if you try for only 1 hour, so I tried it for a longer time), and the only good thing about the results is that they are sometimes hilarious enough to put you in a good mood, but they are not often relevant.

Examples of requests that work on Google and not on DDG:
"maps brawl", supposed to tell me the stages in Brawl.
"juha3d", which is a 3d engine on calculators (second result on Google, and DDG has just gone to space).
"phase shift", a game.

And some requests I tried back then have improved, such as:
"tooth teeth foot feet", which is a request that non native english speakers can type.
"lth", which is my current school.

Anyway, even if DDG is improving, I still get better results with Google so I stick with it.

Same here. I just use Google cause it's sooo accurate. >.< It also has my google apps in the corner which is useful as well.

My mom uses DuckDuckGo all the time and loves it. DDG definitely has a really nice design and seems like a good search engine to use, but I still like Google better. It's just my preference. :p

I might play duck duck goose with duck duck go now.
