Dx2 Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation

I found out about a new SMT game today and I was surprised it's for smartphones

It's called Dx2 Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation and it'll be available for iOS and Android. Someone published a 10 minute video of the game’s English localization so you can have a look:

The battling looks good. I'll most likely download it when it launches. It's already available in Japan (since January 27, 2018) but I rather wait for the English version.

What are your thoughts?

I have a Windows Phone, so I cannot get it and I doubt my tablet is compatible with this game.

It seems an interesting mobile game, I watched some videos and the 3D renditions of demons are pretty cool, and since a console title has better production values than a mobile game, this makes me hyped for the graphical prowess that can be attained in SMTV.

Too bad for some IMO terrible characters design-wise:

It looks pretty good. Is it free to play? If its free I would definitely try it but if not I would rather get one of the many games on 3ds forst. This could be a very good game. Any idea what the ratings are like in japan?

It should be a free-to-play game with micro-transactions IIRC, dunno about ratings, but from the videos and description it's a more basic game than the 3DS SMTs, and they're all very good indeed.

i have done 10 floors of the dungeon in one go


im liking the game, the summoning rate for 4 start and 5 star demons are the worst i have seem in a gacha game, but that doesnt matter since it seems you can get nearly all of what you want via fusion or talking

I've been playing sparingly since it drains my battery like crazy, even on stamina mode at the lowest settings @_@
Fusions are a bit odd compared to other SMT games in that demons can't seem to inherit skills. Even Strange Journey did it with demon sources. Or is my player level too low to unlock it?

You need to unlock "Transfer" and then you can sacrifice demons to get points for a specific demon. Then you can use those points to transfer a skill from a demon you have with it to the target demon. The demon with the skill will be killed off btw.
