E3 reveals the NX?

We were promised that in 2016 we would hear more from Nintendo about what this "NX" exactly is. My main hope is that this year's E3 will have something in store for us about this new console. But how much could we trust that? I know E3 is reliable when learning about new gaming things, but is it 100% guaranteed that NX will be covered in the E3?

I guess there's only one way to find out :p
 
It ought to be. E3 is a bigger event than any Direct, after all, and they can get to show it off to non-Nintendo gamers too and make some new fans .-. You can think of it as guaranteed, there'll be some details at least - whether it's a console or a handheld and whatnot.

If the NX could appeal to even Non Nintendo gamers I'd be impressed. And yea perhaps E3 would be the most appropriate time to hear something about it, I would rather not learn about a console through a little direct lol

... didnt the xbone try that? I mean, their entire E3 thing was just some guy saying "TV" like 80 times in a row, but i think this is not really going to happen because 1) the xbone is not doing so well due to this and 2) i really really do not want that type of approach, i need a hardcore gaming console with pikmin 5, mario galaxy 3, and etc. I want no focus on the other stuff that this consle can do, although a DVD player would be cool i guess, i just want a gaming focus, because why make a game console focused on non-gamers, even i know that will not work.
 
E3 will probably announce the nx for sure, at the very least, talk about it. I suspect they announce the home console and then like any traditional release from Nintendo, release it either the next year or in two years. A little nintendo direct would be quite terrible.

I don't think this will appeal to non nintendo gamers. Go and talk to any person, they would literally just laugh and praise their playstation. I do not think nintendo will be successful at all. Nonetheless, at least an announcement will be made.
 
I'm hoping E3 will reveal the NX as that's where the big reveals are usually. However, do not know if they'll do it at PAX, since that's also where big reveals are (Like smash character reveals and bigger games). I feel like they need to let the hype build up a bit more as well
 
I honestly don't see how much other stuff Nintendo could show off if they DON'T give us the deets at E3. Nintendo well knows that we're all expecting something NX related at E3, so they might tease us with the NX's capabilities/hardware in the least.

They could probably announce some launch titles, like dumb ones such as: Sunshine HD, Galaxy 3, Some new IP, Splatoon 2. You know, the usual meme ones

Add some third party titles into the mix and you have yourself a legit launch lineup. xD

The moment I see a skylander's game I'm not buying the system. I would like to see some 3rd party fighting games like naruto or tekken. Maybe we can get cool indie games

You mean Street Fighter xD.
We may get some indie games like Shantae and Shovel Knight on it, since those are becoming the more popular indie games these days.

Since it is new hardware, most likely yes. This is way too big for a direct. This deserves the E3 treatment. So most likely.

They said the NX is going to tackle XBox one and PS4, so I believe the most sensible place for revealing the NX is E3. Like people have said above, the E3 might attract non- ninendo gamers, this would be a golden opportunity for Nintendo, so why not show it in E3?

The Nx won't be revealed at E3, it has already been confirmed. Just Zelda on Wii u for E3. That is it. This E3 will be terrible.

More like the Ps4 Neo and the Xbox 1.5. The Nx will compete with these consoles.
