SSB for 3DS Extra Stage?

This is something I have been wondering for so long. After you unlock all the stages there is still one slot on the bottom right corner I feel another stage could be added there. It's just a thought maybe it could be a DLC or something in that context. I'm hoping that another stage is added because it just seems to fit.. what do you guys think?

maybe Pokemon stadium 2 will come with the mewtwo dlc or that it is space for a next page button

Do you mean the Paper Mario stage? It's probably that.
