I have such a good theory, its a kinda common theory but I decided to add my thoughts. At the end of a chapter (Forgot the chapter number), Zeref (who is Natsu's older brother) created Natsu as his most powerful Demon. This was 400 years ago. He may have died and has been turned when revived, his demon side or personality was sealed up in a book called E.N.D. At the end of the chapter, Zeref said "Etherious Natsu Dragneel". This may also stand for "Evil Natsu dragneel".

So I predict in the future, the book E.N.D will be unsealed, revealing Natsus other side. He kills Zeref, becoming the most powerful demon, then taking over and destroying the world. The guilds find out how to seal the demon side of Natsu so he becomes normal again.

Sounds bizarre, doesn't it, but I think something like this may happen, what do you think? Fairy tail has gotten so much more interesting...

Oh, read the manga then. Its way ahead of the cube and face part. If not, the anime will catch up eventually

I doubt this theory will ever happen as Natsu, being the main protagonist, can never be potentially made to go evil in such a way. I do not believe that Natsu can fall into evil intentions, mainly because in all the arcs Natsu has always been the main focus for taking down the villain of the arc, or one of the main focuses. Such as Natsu VS Gajeel, Jellal, Laxus, Zero and so on. Mashima will be reluctant to have an arc where Natsu becomes the villain, especially considering that the story's final plot will be most likely about E.N.D.

E.N.D, Zeref and Acnologia are all villains probably fated to come at the very end of the manga, where Zeref himself stated that there will be all out war between the Dragon King, Zeref and humanity - the final battle. Zeref has clearly stated that he wants Natsu to kill him, and even without being evil Natsu would not hold back in a battle against him. With that we know Natsu is likely not to become evil even if his book was unsealed as Zeref has not placed any evil intetions in E.N.D. Zeref himself attempted to instigate Natsu's rage to force him to come to him by
almost killing Makarov
showing that Natsu does not have an evil side. If he did, Zeref would have already unsealed it to get Natsu to kill him (assuming there is a seal on the book, for all we know it may be that E.N.D and Natsu are the same person).

Although it's not something that's out of the question, Mashima doing this would be a surprise to me, as it will not follow FT's normal arc plot... I can see Natsu going into 'E.N.D. Mode' or something but I can't imagine him going evil.

Fairy Tail is seriously getting interesting though, I'm amazed at Spriggan 12 and I can't see any hope for FT against them... Even Makarov and the main group don't stand a chance against one of them... I wonder what's going to happen :3
