XBox Fallout 4 to be an Xbox One Exclusive.

You probably heard but if you didn't here it is:



Several details may have been revealed in regards to the upcoming rumored video game, “Fallout 4,” being exclusive to the Xbox One. According to a post from the NeoGAF forum on May 24, a user claimed that there has been some industry chatter around Bethesda Softworks signing a deal with Microsoft. As a result, “Fallout 4” could end up being one of the 15 exclusive titles that are being planned for release within the first year of the next-generation system’s lifespan. You can take a look at some screens from the predecessor, “Fallout 3,”

Are you kidding? I've been looking forward to Fallout 4 for ages, and now I'd have to spend another £300 or whatever just to play it? Like hell. Damn, if Elder Scrolls 6 is exclusive to Xbox One too, I will end up hating Bethesda.
 
I wouldn't think so and at best for M$ it would be a timed exclusive just like the deal M$ have with CoD & the new Tomb Raider..
Why would a company that has previously released on multiple platforms with a lot of success then limit themselves to one platform that is struggling behind it's competitor?

It's Bethesda, they're famous for screwing up after all. I wouldn't be surprised, they'd just kill Fallout in the process and lose fans. Elder Scrolls Online supposedly failed pretty hard, I was surprised though. I also agree, no matter how big a fallout fan someone is, it's not worth another 400 bucks just to get a console for it. Microcheap and Bethesda aren't doing themselves any favors with an Exclusive deal.
 
I wouldn't mind because I have all 3 current gen consoles:giggle:
 
But not everyone does, nor can everyone just come up with that kind of money. It's bad marketing and not practical is all I'm saying.
 
I can definitively state Fallout 4 will not be exclusively on xbox.. It's a no brainer.

I agree. Almost every XBox game is a temporal exclusive, if not, it will come to PC.
For example, Rise is being ported to PC right now.
