It doesn't matter if they are game exclusive, anime exclusive or whatever. They also don't have to speak only English. I'd just like to know who are your favorite and least VAs, if you have any.

(For the record, I don't want this to seem as if I don't appreciate their work or anything; I realize being a VA can be very stressful and difficult. They deserve support and praise for the jobs they do but, with everything in the world, people have their likes and dislikes.)

My top three men VAs are Crispin Freeman, Travis Willingham and Liam O'Brien. They form a sort of trinity for me as I have a fondness for male characters with deep voices. There's also Takehito Koyasu as my favorite dude Seiyū. As for women, I only have one and that is Mary Elizabeth Mcglynn. Her voice is soo sultry and just sounds so lovely.

(I would marry all of their voices if it were possible lol)

My least favorite VAs would have to be Johnny Yong Bosch, Yuri Lowenthal, Troy Baker and Laura Bailey. It's nothing against them personally; I just don't really like how...frequent they are in the biz and how sometimes their performance doesn't really vary from each character they do, if that makes any sense (less so for Laura Bailey).

For example, I'll use Crispin Freeman (my most fave) and Yuri Lowenthal (whom I hear the most). There's a video game called Xenosaga in which Freeman plays the part of a rather demented and mentally-disturbed antagonist character. When he performs as this character, if you don't really pay attention, you wouldn't realize it's actually the same guy that does Itachi Uchiha because he sounds completely different, like he's more immersed into his role.

With Lowenthal, when you hear him, it's like...he's the same character. Sasuke Uchiha (Naruto), Yosuke Hanamura (Persona 4), Ben Tenison (Ben 10), in my opinion, there is no difference between them and it's that voice. Like it lacks a certain..."passion."

Now, to be honest, the same could be said for Travis Willingham, Liam O'Brien and Mary Mcglynn but, with them, it isn't as bad because they don't appear as often as the others do.

But, anyways, who are you guys' favorites and least favorites? I'd like to know :)

I don't have any least favourite, :p

My favourites are:

  • Megan Hollingshead: voiced Anisette and Edy in the Valkyria Chronicles games.
  • Steve Blum: Really well-known, he's got a distinctive voice. Voiced Jack Slate in Dead to Rights II, Zaka in Valkyria Chronicles, and lots more.

I really like Yoshitsugu Mastuoka, but that's probably because he's the lead in so much (No Game No Life, Sword Art Online, Saekano, Buddy Complex, Absolute Duo, etc.)

My favourite voice actors are Roger Craig Smith, Jaleel White, Charles Martinet, Jason Griffith and Mike Pollock.

My favourite one is definitely Miyano Mamoru (voiced Yagami Light, Tamaki senpai, Matsuoka Rin, Ichinose Tokiya etc.)
He's not only good at voice acting, but also singing! His songs are my favourite.
I also like Ono Daisuka (Midorima and Sebastian etc.) , Ono Kensho (Kuroko) and many other voice actors xD
I don't have my least favourite one though.

For males, I really like Kamiya Hiroshi and Miyano Mamoru. The first anime I saw them in and remembered their voice was Durarara and they did a great job.

For females, I like Sawashiro Miyuki... I actually don't know why... I just really like her voice.

Kamiya Hiroshi and Kaji Yuki are my favourites, they're both VAs in my two favourite anime shows! Plus Kaji Yuki voices Link in in Hyrule Warriors x3
