Favorite Badge Design

The title says it all. Which badge or group of badges do you like the most? I personally like the Sinnoh badges as a group the most because they are all silver and they didn't have to try hard to make them look really cool. I also don't really get why the Earth Badge is a plant and not anything really resembling earth besides life on it (this could lead to theories on Giavonni's backstory... anyway on topic). There is also neat trivia related to the badges like say in Generations 1-3 the badges add boosts in the users' Pokemon's stats or other things like in Gen 2 a STAB damage increase (however they aren't applied in link battles). I like Hoenn's badges the most. Unova and Kalos' badges look really, really uninspired.

Also. I didn't notice Marc just used badges from the game for the Pokemon League.


Makes the whole thing a little less cool.

My favorite line of badges is from the Hoenn region. The other badges do not really seem bad, but some of the newer badges like the Unova region badges and the Kalos region badges look really bland and simple.
The Kanto region had the most colorful badges, IMO.

I really like Drayden and Iris's badge. Their dragon type badge just looks great IMO, Black, Gold, Red...... Its a nice design generally lol.

I also really liked Sinnoh's badges. It gave me a lot of nostalgia when I saw this list they also seem to all have this nice gray sheen.

i really like the Kanto and Johto gym badges they are original and cool ^^ the ones i like the best is the boulder badge ... i don't know why i like it , shape ? the dragon type sinno badge is quite cool and in the game you could polish them and stuff so that was quite nice except it took aggggeees to do
