This is a tougher choice than which starter Pokemon to pick. There's so, so many characters to choose from. From all the Fire Emblem, Mario, Metroid, Zelda, Xenoblade, Donkey Kong, Starfox, Pokemon, Sonic, and Mother games theres hundreds and hundreds of them.
So lets have a little tournament to see who reigns as my favorite video game character.
Knuckles, Waluigi, Lucina, Saria, Clementine, Viridi, Ryquaza, Samus, Hades, Lyn, Anthony Higgs, Master Chief, Shovel Knight, Cynthia, Lucas, Dixie Kong, Kirby, and Sakura
Okay, so lets say them in doubles and pick which I like out of the two.
Knuckles(Sonic) vs Waluigi(Mario)=Knuckles
Lucina(FE:A) vs Saria(Zelda)=Saria
Clementine(TWD) vs Viridi(Kid Icarus)=Viridi
Ryquaza(Pokemon) vs Samus(Metroid)=Samus
Hades(Kid Icarus) vs Lyn (Fire Emblem)=Lyn
Anthony(Metroid) vs Master Chief(Halo)=Master Chief
Shovel Knight vs Cynthia(FE:A)=Cynthia
Lucas(Mother 3) vs Dixie Kong(DK)= Lucas
Kirby vs Sakura (Street Fighter)= Sakura
OK so we're left with Knuckles, Saria, Viridi, Samus, Lyn, Master Chief, Cynthia, Lucas, and Sakura
On to the next round.

Viridi vs Samus= Samus
Lyn vs Master Chief=Lyn
Cynthia vs Lucas=Cynthia
Sakura vs Lyn=Sakura
So advancing is Saria, Samus, Cynthia and Sakura

So we come down to Samus, the guardian of the universe and destroyer of Metroids and other such threats vs Cynthia, a quirky girl who just really wants to be a hero.
So the winner is, drumroll please,
Cynthia.
While I could go through and say everything I like about all these characters, this post is already way too long so I'll wrap it up. I LOVE Cynthia. She is so adorable! She always just wants to fight for what's right even if others think she shouldn't. Her support conversations are always hilarious and she never fails to make me smile.
