Favorite Mario Sports Game

The Mario Franchise has many spin-off games ranging from fighting, to racing, to RPG. But not looking at those we're lookin' at the sports games.

What is your favorite Mario sports game and why?

My favorite would have to go to Mario Strikers Charged for its fast game play and its intense difficulty not to mention that mega strikes are freaking awesome.

I enjoyed Mario Stikers Charged so much as well. It is so fun to play dirty in a Soccer game. Even the team mates were unique in a way, my personal favorites are the Hammer Bros. and Dry Bones. My favorite character in the game is still undecided, despite me playing it for about a year or so.

Yeah my teammates consist of dry bones for defense and speed, hammer bros for shooting and passing, and koopa for an all around type.

My favorite Mario sports game is Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash. This game was so much fun to play with my sister and friends. One thing Ultra Smash has going for it is that it’s definitely gorgeous. Seeing iconic Nintendo characters frolicking around the court is always a treat, and the effects that pop up throughout matches make the each game visually stimulating, even if it's not quite mentally there.

My favorite Mario Sports game is probably Mario Sports Mix. It has an excellent selection of characters, a selection of four different sports (including the best, dodgeball), and a variety of different stages to choose from. It has a fun story mode, a crazy final boss battle, an is just plain fun with a group of family and friends.
