Spin Off Favorite Mystery Dungeon Game?

So, I've been thinking. I really want to go play one of the Mystery Dungeon games. I remember...those games were more emotionally jarring for me than anything Titanic could ever get me to admit. I'll be honest, I cried while playing Explorers of Time and a bit while playing Gates, too. Admit it. You did it too. My question is, which game did you guys find to be the most tear-worthy game and why?



P.S. If Super Mystery Dungeon is anything like Gates or Explorers, then you guys won't see me until I beat it

To be honest. I really depise mystery dungeon. It's lame a person can't be a pokemon. I enjoy the main pokemon games more as they have a good story and follows the original ideas of pokemon. You know, gotta catch em all. It's just training isn't fun in mystery dungeon. I really hate it.

I don't know man, I'm personally not really fond of the main games' stories. It's always along the same lines as the last one, whereas the Mystery Dungeon games have completely different stories each time. The Mystery Dungeon games are also designed to target your feels whereas the main games just feel...too straightforward for me.

I know I'm not the most creative person so I'm used to the same story, defeat an evil organisation, catch a legendary and challenge elite four and champion and then done. But remember, Gamefreak are trying hard to give new Ideas but we already have battling. Although I don't think there is much postgame in Mystery Dungeon, you gotta appreciate the Delta Episode...

In Pokemon Mystery Dungeon you do become a Pokemon .-. and your not really contributing to the main topic of the thread . <favorite mystery dungeon game> You can't just rant upon hating the series in a thread like this >.<)/

But moving right along, I'd say that my favorite Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game would definitely be Explorers of Time/Darkness/Time The ending of the main story did make me cry a little because of how it affected your main partner so this game is very tear worthy .

I wasn't too much fond of Gates to Infinity's story that much since in my opinion, throughout the story it was quite bland and mostly predictable .

I completely agree with that. And to add on to that, there was one character who Nintendo really outdid themselves on.

Grovyle, of course. Just a roller coaster of emotions with him.

I honestly don't think I've seen a story with nearly as many plot twists as Explorers has.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers Of Sky for sure. The story was very deep and epic. I had a good time playing it. There are alot of places to explore and recruit legendaries. The soundtrack was very calming, especially the Shaymin Town theme.
