What is your favorite nintendo game before 2000? Some examples of consoles who had games before the year 2000 are the SNES, NES, N64, Virtual Boy (lol), Gameboy, etc.

Some of my Favorite games included Super Mario Bros. 3 (I love how you can fly as raccoon Mario and Transport to different worlds using the flutes) Tetris Attack (I love puzzle games, plus Iove seeing the characters on there especially Yoshi) Pokémon Red (The First Pokémon Game I have ever played I had a Charizard) Super Mario Land 2 (I would play that game all the Time) and Finally, Pokémon Gold (It was cool how I could use Johto Pokémon as well as the Kanto ones)

Well as I was born shortly before the 2000's i didn't have much time to play the games when they came out, but i still love to play the older games on todays consoles like the 3ds or the older systems I will buy. I really love the original Legend of Zelda game. I love its sense of you not know what your suppose be doing and all its secrets. I also love the Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask. They have so much 3D adventure and awesome puzzles. And we can't forget about Pokemon red/blue/yellow. I love the pokemon games and all there different kind of pokemon and the adventure to be had.

Mostly games on the Gameboy like Pokemon Blue, the Super Mario Land games, F1-Race but that doesn't mean I wouldn't dig first party GBC or Famicom games.

Ocarina of Time. Mario 64 isn't as good (although I haven't beaten it), Majora's main quest is shorter, Super Mario World is too slippery, and Mario 3's graphics really, really bug me (I know that graphics don't equal fun, but I think the game should at least be good enough to the eye, which the art style was not for me personally).

A Link to the Past is up there too, but I haven't beaten it.

I had a snes when i was little. It was amazing. My fondest memories came from playing mario world. I 100% it and i still don't know how the actual fruit i did it. Super mario bros 3 is the better game, tho, and i think i mostly favor world because of nostalgia. There's no denying that world has the better ost, though. Pokemon yellow was amazing, to me, it was basically red, with pikachu and a custom storyline. SML 2 was my favorite platformer on the go, still in top 5. Star fox, or star wing as it's called on my cartridge, was mind-blowing with tubular graphics and more. I enjoyed bubsy for some reason. I decide to beat the crap out of it yesterday lol.

mmmmm gotta be Pokemon Crystal. Just the expanded world of pokemon in the Johto region was great, but also exploring a whole new side of Kanto years later was extremely exhilarating to what essentially doubled my original playtime. Not to mention the final boss fight with Red was EPIC. Truly a masterpiece of a game in the 90s.

Pokemon Crystal no doubt! Pokemon Crystal is probably the best Pokemon and game I have ever played and it is so entertaining and the story is wow! You get to go to jhoto and... kanto and this is the only time I think they did this and yes the battle with red is hard but fun! And your Pokemon experience to this game will make you want more games like this and more games with multiple regions.

I love Super Mario Bros. 3 because you get to be Raccoon Mario

Super Mario World, one of the best games I've played full stop. The graphics were top notch, amazing artstyle, it was pretty difficult (something I wish the new games were), lots of funny moments with Mario destroying the castles, the overworld was great, new and interesting power-ups and of course, Yoshi's grand introduction to the Mario universe.

I'm sure the best would be Ocarina Of Time but, since I haven't really played zelda before a couple of months ago, I must say DK64 was just incredible, being the first video game I ever played.

I think it has aged extremely well, especially for an NES game, but the art style just doesn't do it for me I guess. I do like it more than World though, since I suck at it (SMW). I have changed my mind on Zelda though, now I like Majora's Mask more, but that wasn before 2000...

Nintendo exclusive game would have to be Mario Bros. (Only because Conker's Bad Fur Day was released in 2000, but seriously, that game is awesome. XD) It was pretty much my introduction to gaming as a whole and, come on, it's pretty damn fun, even now XD

But, if you mean just a game that was released on Nintendo before 2000, I used to love the games Gex 64 and Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko, for the time they were released in, they were really great platformers, and back then the concept of entering TV's was like my dream (I was like 6 years old when I played them...) though I do still play them on emulators, and they're just as fun as when I first tried it (but I get more jokes.)

Some of my favorite NES games are Contra, Castlevania, Mega Man, and Ninja Gaiden. As you may be able to tell, these are some very difficult games. Most of these games have some cheap difficulties such as Castlevania and its getting knocked back. Keep in mind that there are many pitfalls in this game and one hit knocks you back and can kill you by falling into a pitfall. Even Ninja Gaiden has the same factor, except it doesn't punish you as much.

Pokémon Yellow because it was the first game to incorporate Pikachus' voice and I thought it was cool. Not to mention I loved seeing Pikachu follow me around.
