Favorite old anime

What is your favorite old anime. When I say old, I mean animes that ended in the past 2 or three year. Say why you like this anime. You don't have to pick one.

Anime series that aired 2 or 3 years ago are old? Lol no....the 90's is the earliest time period where I would begin to consider anything that aired old, 2 to 3 years ago is still too recent. Anyways, some of my favorite older anime series/films would be Cowboy Bebop, Berserk, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Serial Experiments Lain, Perfect Blue, Lupin III: Castle of Cagliostro, Neon Genesis Evangelion and Trigun.
