Most people tend to taunt which is not bad but sometimes I take the time to bust out some mad kirby dance skills
And by that I mean this

Well , I guess while waiting for opponents to respawn , I would always do a taunt most likely because that is common :p But if there are items then I hurry to go pick them up ( like Assist Trophies , Pokeballs , etc . ) though most of the time I would forget to use taunt XD

I taunt twice with Link's down taunt to show my opponent how slow they are > : D I never go for items (unless it's a Smash Ball) I just let the opponent get close to them than I start attacking before they get to it > : )

Whenever I wait for a opponent to appear, I dash across the stage back and forth as Greninja like a piranha. Then I jump in the air, fall down and do a taunt afterwards. It's very interesting...but normally I just do the dashing.

What I do when I wait for an opponent to respawn is, well, taunt because why not. If I don't feel like doing that, I just run around the stage and jump at the same time. The final thing I would do is crouch continuously at the same spot (not T-bagging) until they respawn.

Zero Suit Samus's down taunt. It has '*cackles madly*' as the message and I like that ಠ‿ಠ

Dashing or walking, a shorthop down air, or a taunt just as they lose the game if they taunt me.

I'm actually pretty mean in online. I of course taunt but every so often I waved ash all over the stage just to make them mad because they can't catch. Twice, they rage quitted. Lol I do this rarely though

while I am waiting for an opponent to respawn, I either charge up an attack to use on the opponent later or if that option is not available, then I use an up taunt or plant a tree #VillagerIsAwesome

Depends on the character you're using.

If I'm using a character that has a chargeable strong projectile like Samus then I'd charge the move.

Other than that I'd just taunt.

When I wait for the character to spawn, I crouch spam and probably do a tilt or something like that but usually I would crouch spam to annoy the opponent and or charge up a move. But I like crouch spamming. Especially when I am Kirby.

Just stroll around the stage while I wait to my opponent to arrive,or do some charging for moves that require full charge to maximum potential.Or do a little aerial dance with aerial smash attacks. :p

wavedash (when you press left and right very fast lots of times)

triple taunt master race. Me and my friend try doing all three taunts while the other is waiting to respawn. It's fairly hard to land, but sometimes we go for four taunts. But when I have no time for a single taunt, I just spam crouches. Or charge a neutral special.

When I'm waiting for my opponent to respawn, I usually:
Taunt
Tea Bag
or keep using my left/right L

Everytime I taunt, everybody I play is probably mad at me.

Crouch -> Uncrouch -> Crouch -> Uncrouch aaaand repeat

Usually, unless I have a preferred thing for the character. For example, I would just side taunt with Shulk, or d-tilt with Lucas or roll and spot-dodge as Jigglypuff.

I do a similar thing. I just jump around the stage. Especially because I usually manage to KO the opponent first after we reach a high damage percentage, I have to avoid all the attacks of my opponent by dancing around the stage, because I can't hit him back due to the temporary invincibility!
