well, i have some ideas for "rulesets" for the online mode, we could use them in tournaments

kill the leader : the two platers must choose a leader for his team, if that leader is defeated, the team loses
civil war : only hoshido players vs hoshido players and norh vs norh players , the players with the revelations version can play, but only with units of the country what were doing civil war
no skills: nobody cant use skills,


you have some ideas?

You could also do 'canon'-only skills: characters can only have skills from classes they can heart-seal into
(ex: Xander can only have skills from the cavalier/wyvern rider trees)
 
I had this as a countermeasure for the resident Pokemon ruiners.

I had called it the Frozen ruleset lel, but I left it down.

-Only Heart Seal-available classes/skills, this includes Children characters, they'll only have classes and skills inherited from their fixed parent allowed.

-No DLC skills nor classes unless the character had them from the beginning (amiibo units)

-No logbook units

That said, I like simple, ruleless battles.
 
Here's some of my ideas:
One weapon type only - Teams can only use one weapon type only (i.e use only swords)
No Magic - Shurikens/daggers, swords/katanas, axes/clubs, bows only
Magic only - Magic damaging weapons (i.e Shining Bow and Levin swords) are included
Shapeshifters only - beast stone and dragonstones only
Mounted units only - Winged units and Horse mounted units only
Ground units only
No heal and staves battles - no elixirs, concoction, vulneraries and staves
