First Pokemon Game?

What was the first pokemon game you played and for what console was it?
 
The first one I actually played properly was Ruby for the GBA.
I played Silverbefote that but I didn't get very far. xD
 
I think it was HeartGold but I can't remember since I was a child at the time,i played it on PC with a Gameboy emulator and it was quite fun for me at the age,my pokemon party must have been lame since I didn't know much about training pokemon at the time.

Pokemon Yellow or one of those Pokemon games without the color. All I remembered was playing it on a friend's Game Boy and that something was blocking the path to a Gym in the game >.<

After playing the game, I instantly fell in love with Pokemon games, :love:
 
Pokemon Red (original GB). Played it on my cousins GB, since I didn't own one at the time. :3

highly addictive and I was pretty much glued to it. xD

good times/memories, I feel so old now. :sorry:
 
I played a pokemon game at a friends gameboy but I have no idea which one. You had to find diamonds or something? my own first pokémon game was Heart Gold on the DSi. I kind of killed (I had hear of a way to clone pokemon but I made a mistake...) then lost my pokéwalker, I still get sad when I think about that... Still haven't completed the game, for one of the last side-quests I need a Groudon for Soul Silver. My cousin has Soul Silver but he does not read the instructions so after two years he finally made it to the first pokémon league, so it's going to take a while before I can lend his Groudon. (Stupid professor Oak, why do I have to have both Kyogre and Groudon in my party...)
 
My first Pokemon game was Pokemon Silver. I had played in on a emulator when I was 3 and my favorite pokemon was Mew so I named my trainer Mew and my Cyndaquil was named Mew as well lol. I didn't know what I was doing. I couple years later I made a new save file and named my trainer Jas and my Cyndaquil was named Expo, like Explosion (BTW I did not copy the manga, I ended up reading the manga years later and I laughed because my Cyndaquil and golds Cyndaquil were both named Expo) I ended up beating the game :D I have not played in a couple years so someday soon I may go check on it :3
 
I have to say I entered the scene quite late with Pokemon White. I did log 150 hours in that though :/ I really loved Zekrom so much though so I went for Black 2 Next, even though stat wise the kyrem/Reshiram Splice is *slightly* better as it can have more use for its stats. Thanks to poke transfer from a mates Soul silver or heart gold (don't remember which one) I was able to get some pokemon from there which was nice, so technically my first *pokemon character* that was from a different game was from those games, predeceasing white & black. I've moved to Y though, and I have to say I'm pumped for the next to games.

Oh, and the starter I picked in my first game was oshawot.

The first Pokemon game that I played was Pokemon heartgold. I got it a couple of years ago for my birthday. Its was so fun and I have gotten so many other Pokemon games since I got heartgold version and they have all been fun.

The first Pokemon game I played was Pokemon Emerald, that is why I am so stoked by the new Hoenn remake, it turns out that Pokemon emerald was also my first video game along with the Limited Edition GBA Rayquaza which I still play today!

pokemon Yellow and back then I didn't even know how to play pokemon :p. I only used to get as far as getting oaks parcel and then I was stuck, I didn't even know you could catch pokemon but later my cousin taught me all of that.

pokemon ruby was my first pokemon game, and i am so happy that they make a remake for the 3ds. I can retrieve old memories from my childhood and make it happen all over again :)

I think it was Pokémon Silver if I remember correctly. I didn't progress much. Then I got Pokémon Yellow and Pokémon Crystal. I still love them both but their batteries have given up.

My Very First Pokemon Game Was Pokemon Blue And My Fave Starter Is None Other Than Squirtle Coz he can easily be use to defeat the game not like the other starters which is a little hard 4 ne to use at the early gyms. And bcoz of this my pokemon journey (addiction) starts until now i am in College abd this will be 4ever and ever.. . . ahh and ever. ^_^

My first game was Pokemon Emerald; loved playing it though I was a complete noob back then. :D
