First Zelda Game

There are a lot of Zelda games, but I want to know if you guys know what the FIRST one is, what it is about, and what console it was for.
HINT: It's not the Legend of Zelda

A Link to the Past for the GBC. I think that's what it's called, or I think it was called Four Swords. I'm not sure(It was my first game after all)

Was really fun, and I enjoyed the dungeons, and collecting pieces of hearts, and the items that you got from the dungeon. Really interested me, and got me into Zelda. The Hyrule theme was very catchy too.

My first game Legend of Zelda was links awakening I really enjoyed tha very sad ending man makes so upset,sadly there was no master sword it was on the 3ds man nintendo rule they rock man too bad they probably won't make a remake of the game cause if they do that would legitamentlly E P I C ! WHY
