I know this has nothing to do with Nintendo, but Do you guys have a fish tank? If so, how big is it, is it freshwater or saltwater, and what fish do you have?

I used to have one, and I'm currently shopping for another one! I was a 20 gallons tank, Venezuela themed, brackish water. It was mostly Guppies, I love Guppies, I love to breed them ;A;

......

To be honest I have horrible experiences with fish.

I had many fish in my life, the first one was a dark purplish-blue Beta Fish.

It was a gift from my grandma, well when she gave it to me it was small and in a dome shaped bowl. It had a swollen belly, so I thought it was pregnant, it died the following morning. Turns out it had cancer.

If you want a Betta Fish, be careful these fish are prone to tumors and developing cancer.

Some time later, my parents bought a huge tank like the ones in a doctor's office filled with goldfish. Well...Turns out those fish were cannibalistic because each day we had less and less fish and one fish was getting bigger and bigger.

And the last fish we owned was a set of three small fish named after the Powerpuff Girls. Their tank was fairly big with a filter and freshwater, well...Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup swam into the filter. They just killed themselves.

My advice don't bother with a filter.

You just look like someone who was quite misinformed about their fish and tank ._. Sorry for you!

:D just completely set up my 120 gallon saltwater, for a pufferfish :), and 3 10 gallons freshwater, with common fish, a 7 gallon saltwater I'm setting up, and a 55 gallon koi pond

I used to have one of the smaller tanks. I owned two Goldfish and that's about it. My only exposure to fish :(

Now I really want to have a tank again... and breed guppies again...

I love pufferfish! I got 2 a while back when I had a snail issue in my tank!

I had 2 turtles, Mr. and Mrs. Turtle. Ironically enough, Mr. Turtle RAN away, literally. Then we got a little baby turtle that liked to get stuck between the filter and the wall of the little fish tank. It ended up drowning itself because we were asleep and couldn't dislodge it from its own trap. Mrs. Turtle, the poor old widow, ended up in an Asian all you can eat restaurant. She wasn't being eaten, she is enjoying the rest of her life in the mini Koi pond at Kwando. We ended up getting rid of the tank because we no longer needed it.

Bumping this old topic!

I got a new fish tank and will probably populate it Amazonian style =D

I used to have a fish tank, but in two fish that ended up having one eat the other. The fish tank is now just collecting dust .-.

Awww... maybe they weren't fit to be together? I mean, not all the fish are meant to be put together, we need to be careful and read about them before putting them together =/
