SSBM Fox VS Falco

There is a fox VS falco thread somewhere, but it's for ssb4. this is melee.

So who do you really think is better?
The bird?
Or
The uhhhh.... Fox?
Soooo tell me what you think below.

P.S. There also seems to be a lack of melee threads on this forum
 
ehhhh personally I like falco better. Longer grab range and more of a floaty feel in my opinion. IDK he just sort of feels better to play. It's sort of personal preference between these two I think.
 
Fox is better imo. He's more favorable in hated matchups like puff. He has better speed, gimping game, and overall really freaking good neutral. I'd argue that falco has better shine combos that zero to death, but fox can limit landing options really well. This is seen really often vs marth. (*Cough cough* m2k vs leffen *cough cough*) Fox has a better matchup spread than falco imo. I'd argue he has at least a slight edge against everybody in the game. Falco isn't nearly as dominant. I mean, come on, compare the amount of foxes in MIOM top 100 and compare that to the number of falcos in top 100. Huge difference.
