Funniest/ Weirdest thing that happened to you in Pokemon?

The title sas it. What was the funniest or weirdest thing that happened to you in pokemon? Mine was when I Wonder Traded a Froakie and got... another Froakie. Also, in Pokemon Platinum, I spent two or three days trying to find Snowbelle city.
 
One of the funniest thing that ever happened was in Pokemon Platinum , I went like for a hour just trying to find that secret cave to find a Gible in the place where there was that freeway :p I kept searching in the grass until I gave up and researched that it was a cave under the freeway away from line of sight >.>
 
When i wondertraded and got a shiny moltres after i chained and got a shiny poliwhirl
 
Yeah... umm this is REALLY stupid but in either Pokemon Platinum or Diamond, when I was little but not so little that I couldn't read or be smart-ish :p, I got lost in a cave that some guy also comes with you (I think he was a Psychic) Then I couldn't find my way out for an hour or 2 and I had an ESCAPE ROPE!!! I didn't consider searching the map so I gave up and RESET THE GAME!!! I can't believe myself xP
 
Something stupid I did was teach my Meganium cut because I didn't know it was a weak move and I didn't have another Pokémon in my party that could learn cut.A funny thing also happened to me was I used to use Water types to beat electric types because I thought water was super effective on electric.So whenever I see an electric type I use a water move to kill it and it works.But later I realized it was the opposite,water was weak against electric and electric is super effective on water.Something wierd happened to me as well,I wonder traded this random guy a Magikarp and I got a Bidoof.Such a fair trade.A weak Pokémon for a weak Pokémon
 
weridest thing that happened in pokemon history with me was that i spend 5 to 6 dayes to find way to fallbor town and when i was about to cry in frustastion suddenly i saw that the way in front of my eyes
 
I once accidentally used a master ball on a magikarp. I have also been really annoyed that the Azure Flute, Member Card, and Oak's Letter I hacked into my Pokemon Diamond game will only work if the event is activated.
 
OMG Do not get me started ;-; I did so many stupid things by accident
I used a masterball on a zubat
I used self destruct when battling with the Champions last Pokemon
I may have used an escape rope when I did not know I found the end of the cave ;-;
 
One of the stupidest things I did in pokemon was I was trying to breed a perfect rufflet, so I put two rufflet in the daycare and start riding my bike around. Now it was my first pokemon breeding attempt and I didn't quite know how it worked. So I road my bike for about a good 30 minutes before checking on them, but there was no egg. So I go and check the pokemon and then it hits me, rufflet is an all male pokemon species.

One time I was showing my friend Pokemon OR, since he was gonna get an AS soon. I showed him Littleroot town, and found a Mewtwonite X! I totally did not know I would get it there. Then, I went on over to Route 101 and told him about hidden pokemon. There, there was a hidden pokemon I had not caught yet. My same friend said that it was a Zorua before we saw the silhouette (either wishful thinking, or he is very good at distinguishing the cry or the head), and I said it must have been a Lillipup. I was so wrong and it surprised both of us good.

Then, on another day with the same friend, he wanted to see a Pokemon Contest. I entered Master Rank Beauty with my Altaria (which was his third time), and we were so, so surprised to see Wallace out of nowhere.
