Game boy Advance games coming to 3ds?

i saw that gmae boy advance games are coming to the wiiu. do you guys think that they will come to 3ds? i sure hope so it would be aweosme for games like super mario world and mario adn luigi super star saga to come to 3ds. what do you guys think will they come to 3ds as well?

Given the actual statement of Nintendo, it's not for now :cry:! But I would definitely love to see Nintendo port GBA games to the 3DS. Just by nostalgia, and because it would make the 3DS look even more "Many Consoles in One!" ;)

And by the way, it would allow me (and I am not alone) to play all those exciting GBA games I never got the luck to try/see... :)

I hope at some point they will. Maybe they want to see how the games fare on Wii U? The ambassador titles prove how good GBA games are on 3DS.

Nintendo's entire approach to the Virtual Console is pretty awful - it has nowhere to go but up.

I am hoping that Nintendo will bring GBA games to the 3DS, it wouldn't hurt at all. Someone told me it might hurt the Wii U sales, and I don't think so. People won't buy the Wii U just for the Gameboy Advance Virtual Console, and the Wii U already has so many VC options it won't be a problem. I don't even mind if they bring the Ambassador Program GBA games on the 3DS eShop.

To be honest, I don't think the 3DS has a good VC lineup, it can be better. Nintendo won't lose out on any money because I think those games will sell. I actually made it a huge spam on Miiverse asking Nintendo for GBA VC on the 3DS and a lot of people agreed.

I would like n64 and gamecube games to come at Nintendo 3ds. that would be incredible.

Gamecube games would be a challenge (Only exception is TLoZ:OoT3D), as the 3DS only have the D-Pad and the Analog Stick, while GCN uses the C-Stick, the D-Pad and the Analog.

And for the N64... Well, actually, it can be made! After all, if people can emulate the N64 on a PSP, why not try on a 3DS (who is WAY stronger) ? But Nintendo's opinion will again be an issue (given the current opinion on GBA games on 3DS).

Finally, I agree with you, @Reece, we don't have that much games on the 3DS VC who are really "great", compared to the WiiU VC. But, once again, Nintendo never really exploit their consoles. And it's a shame, because the 3DS could emulate the SNES or the N64 without that much trouble !

Well for the games that use the c stick can be modded by Nintendo to use it on touch screen or they could create an add on like circle pad pro.
 
yes that would be awesome. it could be like the all console in one . or something where it could get all the old console games that are famous on vc. but some that they have are good i just hope that super mario bros 3 actualy comes to 3ds adn i hope that super mario world also comes if they start putting out more vc i think that it will be SNES or gba.

While 3DS is more powerful than the PSP (who can emulate consoles up to the PS1/N64), Nintendo could put all of the SNES/N64/GBA or even (if they patch them) the BS-X titles. But Nintendo won't do it, that's sure, and that's a shame, if you look at how many awesome games were on these platforms !

But, we can still hope that someday, Nintendo will change its mind and port GBA games... That's a dream, but maybe it will happen.

Maybe someday they will port the games but I would personally like an hd remake of the games to come on n3ds and wii u. Expect n64 and vameube sega genesis games would be awesome too.

Yes, i think that GBA games are coming to the 3DS because for a lot of reasons: A lot of people are having petitions and are voting to have GBA games on the 3DS, and Nintendo knows that they will make a huge profit from these games if they release them, and that Nintendo is working on it, and they are trying to improve the interface and eliminate bugs from the Ambassador version of games, I think.

that would be awesome. i hope that Mario and Luigi super star saga comes out first(along with some other ones of course ) because then people could play all of the Mario and Luigi series on a 3ds. also lets do a petition i will send to Nintendo and give it to them when i go to there hq this summer. what do you think of a petition?

I will support your idea, but I think that that for the GBA games, it should be the Pokemon games like R/S/E and FireRed/LeafGreen. It would be an insta buy for me, but unfortunately, as @TAG said, that's true. Nevertheless, Nintendo knows how many people are rooting for GBA games to also be on the 3DS.

yes ! i really hope they do come to 3ds sd the pokemon fire red leaf green n emerald and those ones are boss !
but lots of us either lost it or its broken due to age and now - i really want to play it again so i hope it comes

I do not think that game boy games will be back again. I think they have closed their cycle but none can be sure on what nintendo thinks. I believe it is more possible to be remakes of gba games on 3ds version

I hope thy do come back! All those classics: Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga (LOVED that game), LoZ: Minish Cap, the ENTIRE MegaMan Battle Network series, Kirby: Amazing Mirror, Yoshi's Island, and so many more! Too bad the Pokemon games aren't coming to VC. It would be cool to play FireRed/LeafGreen again! I won't really need R/S/E - remakes coming soon- but I would like to see a spinoff like Red Rescue team or even Pinball.

I do not think so. Nintendo had an Ambassador program that allowed GBA games to be played on the 3DS, and I hope that they will bring GBA games to the eShop.

Yeah there was an ambassador program, and to be honest, I think those games should at least be added unto the eShop, it will definitely sell, even if it was an exclusive for early adopters (which wasn't much), the 3DS has a huge install base now, and I've asked around on Miiverse communities/Youtube only to realize that everyone wants this on the 3DS system... I think now Nintendo got the NNID, they should implement cross-buy as well, between the Wii U and 3DS GBA VC, similar to what Sony does with their systems.
