There's been a lot of talk about GCN game being on VC for the Wii U, but there's a problem with that: the pressure-sensitive trigure on the Gamecube controller won't be on the Wii U, and isn't on the classic controller either. If the GCN games turn out to be true, how do you think they will be played?

I think these ideas would work:

- GameCube controller (with some sort of adapter to allow connectivity with the Wii U)
- An enhanced classic controller with pressure-sensitive triggers
- The Wii U controller or Classic Controller [pro], removing the pressure-sensitive feature from the game

Nintendo are smart, they'll work it out, but my guess is that the Wii U controller will work. Then again, they could always come out with a new controller right before re-releasing Gamecube games.

I don't see why you would need to make the Gamecube controller work with the console. I'm sure the GamePad could be utilised, and if people didn't like that they could go out and buy the Wii U Controller Pro.

I think that's the best option. Sounds much better than the other two. No need to make the GC controller work with it, that's just outdated, and new means must be used.

Actually I like the idea
Development is always good and a lot of people will sure love these features

I've actually had my Nintendo Wii for over a year and I have many Gamecube games (due to the fact I owned one a few years ago). But, I've only just been told that it plays Gamecube games. I haven't tested this yet, but I cam curious to know whether or not you can use the Nunchucks to control the characters in the GC games? What is it like playing them on the Wii?

If you play GCN games on the Wii you have to use the controller. Wii controllers won't work on it.

The Gamecue games are the only reason why I haven't sold my Wii. I still play the from time to time. Especially F-Zero GX

I like the backwards compatibility. I used to play my old GC games (Such as Wind Waker/Ocarina of time/Master Quest) Sonic adv 1 & 2 and some others.
