So it's come to my attention that Ganondorf is declared the true Home-Run king in Smash Bros. 4, and from what I experienced and witnessed, he makes Yoshi's method of doing a home-run a complete joke, yet his method works just as good as it was in Melee!

Ow yeah, my highscore for homerun was set with ganondorf. He doesn't even need the bat. And he unlocked me the challenge.

Lol yeah, same, I got the challenge with Ganondorf without even trying to do something smart. Just kick the bag until you don't have more time then hit it with the bat or something else, no one cares

Forget the Home-Run bat with Ganondorf, look what I did to the Sandbag in this video

Lol, no idea what ft are compared to meters.
But if you hit with the tip of the bat, it sends it very far too
Also, I am not sure but maybe you had time for one more hit before the punch because if your last animation started before the timeout, it's still valid so no need to finish the punch before 0 as long as it was started.

I can confirm this works, Ganondorf is the king of Home Run Contest, Got 800 meters on my first attempt with just smashing and tilting around

Wow,this man can send things flying away like a meteor quite easily.
I took somewhere around 5 to 15 tries to find the perfect personal run to beat that challenge in the Wii U version with Ganondorf, and it does feel pretty satisfying when you make it with a heavy and powerful guy like him.I thought completing that challenge would be impossible, but thanks to the lord himself,it was less difficult than I thought it would be.
