Getting Smash Bros - physical,download or both?

I found out Smash Bros even here(where it looks like we're the only gamers for miles....)Smash bros may be hard to get,it's already being preordered.I want a physical copy so I won't lose it(people say Nintendo WON'T HELP if a download game disappears)What are you getting physical,download or both in case one mess up?

Digital copy for me. I own more the 20 3ds games games (Not including mini games or indie) and i won't hold them everywhere or sometimes i bring one game and i want to play a different game that's at home. Plus, buying digital you can't loose the copy because you can always redownload and the 3ds system update allows you to back up games. So i think i'm in a safe spot

I'm (most likely) skipping the 3DS version of the game, but when it becomes available for the Wii U, I'm definitely going to purchase it via eShop digitally on day 1. Hopefully it isn't as large as Bayonetta 2,

Lucky you can get the Wii U version easily:I want the physical copy(because a sd card I had literary fell in half)but I might HAVE to get a digital copy because the local gamestop said the games already been preordered and they might not have any for sale,only to give to the preorder people!

Offtopic: I bought a 128GB SDXC card for my 3DS and i had to modify the SD Cards format to make it compatible for my 3ds and it works just like any other sd card, i'm going to experiment with 256GB to see if it works.

Most people prefer physical because you can hold the game in your hands or you can sell the game. But for me it's awkward to switch games in a busy train that's why i go for digital, so i don't loose any games and i can switch games on the spot without reaching to my bag and find a particular game in my bag, i use to hold about 20 games in my bag but not anymore

I don't know yet. I am leaning towards physical but I don't find particularly bad the option of having it digital, specially if it has some streetpass compatibility - I don't know if it does.

I will most likely get the physical copy, because I prefer it, so I can trade it in or sell it sometime in the future if I ever was to get bored of it.

I am going to get it downloaded for 3ds probably the week after release (store was out of 20$ cards so had to wait) also i might be getting a physical copy also for a N3ds when it comes out but i might just get another downloadable one but i like getting the case so i might just buy a physical one first XD

I want to have a retail copy of it, but here in Brazil, getting a physical copy at a store is kinda unwhorty, because its always more expensive, because of abusive taxes and stuff.
So i just have two options:

-Import it from some site and wait like a month to the package arrive (im considering playasia, i have bought some games here some years ago).

Or

-Download it from the e-shop, which will be even cheaper than either buying it at a store or online. But i wont be getting the case and manuals if i choose so (being a collector sucks).

Help.

that is to bad that it is so bad takes and stuff. but if you want it asap i would go digital and get it cheaper and quicker, but if you want it just for your collection and not to play a lot then i would go physical but it is up to you. i am going to most likely get digital.

I would definitely play it a lot, i already have ten hours just in the demo!
But yeah, i think digital is definitely the best option...

I would like to get the digital copy. Here in Venezuela maybe I can find it in physical but the price is very very VERY expensive, is just imposible. (It's even more expensive than the minimun salary!). I can import it from the USA but the goverment here just let you waste $300 PER YEAR and I already waste the ones from my family.

Sooooooooooo, I think I have to wait till next year *Suffering* or wait till Club Nintendo make an special deal like the one with Pokemon X/Y which I got it for free . And the eshop from latin america countries just SUCKS (except by the Brazil one I think it contains more contents) that's why I have my 3ds registered with an NA address and I can download the demos haha.

Yep it's not easy being a gamer in SA. Way more in Venezuela

I'm going to get the physical copy, because I'm a collector and im OCD on having the boxes and manuals. x3 And I don't have a very big SD card and the digital copy will take up most of the card Hopefully I'm going to be getting the game today, because I have two good reasons to. Number 1: My two siblings have gotten a bunch of Rainbow Loom Bands in the past 3 or 4 shopping trips, and my mom asked me if I Wanted something and I said I wanted Smash Bros when it came out. Number 2: When my mom was yelling at us because we were fighting about money on Animal Crossing, I noticed $40 on the table and I was like . And then I waited till she was done to see if she was using it and then I just took it and but it in my wallet. I'm pretty sure she did that on purpose cause the only way me and my sisters get money is if my Mom or my Dad leaves it out like that. So today before school I'm gonna give her the $40 and tell her to buy me Smash Bros :3 Me and my friend already planned that we go to his house and duke it out in Smash Run :3

i would like to get both, now here me out... i would get the physical copy because if something were to happen to my 3ds and it became unusable, i would still have the game on me! i would also get the dowload so that way i always have smash with me, so i never forget it at home or anything like that! but if my 3ds breaks then i would lose it, right? WRONG! i would transfer the data to me computer! this way, life will never stop me from smashin'!!!
