Is it just me or is it easier to get stunned by monsters on 4U than the older MH games like FU and 3U?
A few connecting hits from the monster and my character's all dizzy. I recall taking a lot more hits before that happened on the previous games.

It seems about the same to me. Thankfully it's easy to get out of stun.

happens to me constantly whenever i hunt mono/diablos, mainly from them just walking into me >.< that's also the reason why i almost never use full EX Escadora, since it comes with double stun unless it's gemmed out :l

Yeah, I encounter this with bird wyverns and rajang the most. Luckily, now accidental trips from ls and ig users have a purpose.

Yes.

i dont know if its because i have played mh4u a lot more than mh3u but i feel the same way i think its very frequent now and monsters like the rahtalos take full advantage of it in HR and G rank, the rathalos stunned me and then poisoned me with his tail in the same hunt twice.

*feels slightly offended* lol
I feel like your trying to say that most ig (& ls...) users frequently miss combo attacks! (Though, how you could miss a large Monster with a long reach weapon is (Waaaaaayy!!) beyond me...
Anyways, just felt like that had to be said.
*wonders how you'll disagree* xD

the long reach is exactly the reason why they cause accidental trips >.> take the spirit roundslash from the LS for example: it has so much range that it almost always hits the monster, but that also means it's easier to hit other people .-.

I was curious about how TeamSpeak works...
Like what does it do besides allow you to hear other players?
It does seem interesting, but I just wanted to make sure that it wasn't just a lame, useless installation. Also, once I get (Well, USE, since I already have it...) TS3, what do I do then? I wanna try one of those competitions, but I'm guessing that there are set times & guidelines for when you can and can't play...
& Finally, how does the PC system work? You have to send coins if you lose so I wanna know how just in case I somehow lose. Thanks for the help, BTW! ;)

It lets you speak while playing a game. It was designed for PC players, but it works kinda like Skype in that you can just use it whenever.

Also, just wanted to say I started out as an LS main, having 200+ hours and 500+ hunts in with the weapon :p. But, yeah, not so much missing combos (though this does happen with IG, as many of its moves lock the user in place), more of a reach issue, as Robin stated. Wasn't meaning to offend, it's just that LS and IG users have almost singlehandedly turned me away from using SnS and Lance online, opting to use them in solo hunts instead. On most of the harder monsters in 126+ GQ's especially (rajang, yian garuga, kirin, etc.), even a skilled LS/IG, or even SA user will often inadvertently trip their allies, unless said allies are using weapons with super armor on all of their combos.

TL;DR- Too much horizontal movement causes tripping, and I wasn't trying to offend anyone. :)
