GFX - most important?

what's the most important factor of a graphics piece? texture, effects, colors, render/image, text? What makes it stand out from the others?

to me all thoose are important but the most is depth. with out it in any style your image in flat

Colors. Using the right colors, and 2 - 3 colors in a tag really makes it shine. Render is also imprtant. You wanna get a HQ Render, and something with some form of action going on. It brings out your imagination, and you won't be stuck there with no idea with what to do.
