Is Call of duty ghosts whorth getting?
Or is gta v better

I'm a Call of Duty fan and I only play it for its multiplayer, so to me it is worth getting. I haven't played GTA5, but I've also heard a lot of good reviews about it, including its multiplayer gameplay.

To be honest, I'd say both are worth getting, but there are people who are tired of playing the same thing over and over again when we're talking about Call of Duty. The only major thing that they added to the multiplayer gameplay is a light shaking effect on the Free Fall map. I can't say much about the single player gameplay because I haven't touched it yet and I don't think I'm going to tbh (I purchased it mainly for the multiplayer).

Well Gta V has countless of things to do , it's basically like a life simulator and you can do many stuff on the game but call of duty ghosts is just shooting over and over again which is basically boring after everytime u play it so I would have to go with Gta V the graphics are really good too.

I haven't played GTA V but from what I've seen, I would probably pick Ghosts over it. Ghosts isn't really an improvement over the other Call of Duty games (well...map interaction if you count that as an improvement) but it's still a solid FPS.

Actually, I would pick Black Ops 2 over both. Greatest FPS off all time.

I didn't really like GTAV. It's partially because of the glitchiness when it first released, and the overall tone of the story was a bit... generic? The gameplay was good, but I preferred Sleeping Dogs as far as character control, gunplay, and driving went.

Ghosts was good. I liked the AI-vs-AI multiplayer a lot. I'm not great at it, but it meant that I wasn't letting down an entire team if I happened to have a bad run. Plus the larger maps were great as I like to play a sniper, which I couldn't really do in Black Ops 2 because of how cramped most of the maps were. And the ones big enough to snipe on were usually full of corridors and such that made it impractical anyways.

So, I'd opt for Ghosts.

Honestly, I can't believe anyone would pick Ghosts over GTA V.

Ghosts is a decent FPS, but nothing about it really stands out in the CoD franchise. GTA V however is an amazingly huge open world sandbox game with more to do than you could possibly ask for. With all of the cars, guns, weapons, mini games, building, aircrafts and customizable content, GTA V is worth its price for the online play alone. Although it is about 20 times more enjoyable if you have a couple of friends playing with you, that way you don't have to hide out as random people place bounties on you and level 70+ people try to claim it.

But like I said, online might be the best thing about GTA V, but the offline story is just as good. The three characters you get to control all have lively personalities, with Franklin taking the generic hood guy living a thug life and wanting to become rich, but then you get two new personalities in the long retired Michael and the deranged, psychotic Trevor. The three of them come together to provide what has to be one of the best story's I've ever had the pleasure of playing through.

Get GTA. :)

I hate both, but if I had to pick one it would be gta 5 cause I would be able to do something that doesn't involve shooting the guts out of people

Yes, because in GTA5 you get to torture the guts out of people! Much more humane.

Nah not really I just wouldn't play the missions and just free roam, that's what my friend did

Just like me, another Call of Duty fan. The comparison is a bit unfair, it is like comparing apples to oranges. Call of Duty is a game where you run around, shoot people and get points. GTA V is a game in which you complete missions, drive cars and work to earn money. GTA V is like a criminal life simulation whereas CoD: Ghosts is a Run n Gun game. I suggest you get GTA V because you will be pretty bored by Ghosts after a while since you don't have any other objective except killing people. If you want a decent shooter, consider Arma 3 (PC only) or Battlefield Bad Company 2. Although BFBC2 is a bit outdated, there are still thousands of people who still play it online.

GTA 5. It's much more popular and I think you'll enjoy it more than Ghosts. It's well worth it, imo.

if you like a good challenge then it's perfect. The missions are very hard. xD

Well deserved vote. I get bored by CoD games very, very quickly. GTA V has multiplayer that at least allows you tons of more hours of fun. Max out all of your status, become a billionaire, get all the cars etc.

Uhm, and Call of Duty doesn't have hours of content? If you prefer GTA V more that's fine, but the way you're saying that sounds like you're implying Ghosts doesn't have a lot of stuff to do. Yes, it's all generally the same, but to some it's incredibly fun. I have about 6 accumulative days on both of my versions of Ghosts and I'm only 7th prestige (both games combined, 4th prestige on PS4, 3rd on Wii U), and I haven't even scratched the surface of stuff to complete and unlock.

Also @Mikaya, GTA V isn't more popular than Ghosts lmaooo. It might have sold more but the number of people playing online on GTA V vs. Ghosts is quite a big difference (I have GTA V on 360, btw).

I'm not saying it doesn't have content, i'm saying that the content on CoD is extremely repetitive. GTA V is also repetitive, but has more "real" objectives, compared to just running around, shooting people and unlocking weapons/perks/attachments.

Even though this is an odd comparison because both games are completely different However, I'd recommend GTA V because it's one hell of a un game and much better and polished than it's prequels. Multiplayer on GTA V is something you'll get hooked to. Buy GTA V without a second thought, you won't regret it.
