Grinsia, a well known iOS/Android titles, will actually be arriving on the Nintendo 3DS eShop next month. The port of the classic JRPG-style game is being published by Nicalis, which brought us fantastic titles such as Cave Story and VVVVV.

Nicalis confirmend this news on their Twitter profile: "Grinsia releases May 8th, 2014 on Nintendo 3DS eShop! #JRPG"

This is on Nicalis' website, description of this game~
"Grinsia follows a family of three treasure hunters who go out in search of some ancient ruins said to be full of untold riches. Their adventure begins with little incident, but little do they know that they’ll be caught up in a more sinister plot as the fate of the world hangs in the balance."

What do you think of the game, I think it looks like a fantastic JRPG, can't wait to see more on this title.

Looks amazing! If i have the money for it i'll be getting it for sure!

I'd see this one, but for whatever reason it didn't really register with me. I think it looks a bit cliched based on what little I've seen, but I'll reserve judgement until I learn more about it. It'll be interesting to see the enhancements that come with the move from mobile to the 3DS.

I agree, the story it self hasn't really clicked in with me well, but I love the battling, it reminds me so much of the earlier Final Fantasy games, I hope they show more on this game, and it's story, I don't want to judge harshly just based on the trailer. I think this generation of gaming, needs games like this though, I'm hoping that this game seems a lot better than it looks at this moment.

I know why the picture seems familiar... It's the same disposition as Final Fantasy (up to FF7)! As for the gameplay, I'm not sure it's the same as a FF one... Given that I'm now adapted to FF5's battle interface, that looks a bit confusing... If there's a demo, I'll give it a try.

I was interested on this game long time ago just for the game genre.

Sadly, after watching their other games for mobile (including this one), those make me remember so much to RPG Maker.
