Guests in Mario Kart 8?

Hello, everyone, just wondering how cool it would be to have characters in Mario Kart 8, outside the Nintendo Universe, like Sonic or even Pacman, theres alredy a game of them together, he would be cool to have in the game.

Serioudly, I know the game is called Mario Kart, but theres like 30 Marios alredy in the roster. cx (I'm exagerating, but I still think it has too much Mario.)

Who would you guys like to see in the game? Maybe, Koopa Paratroopa from Mario Kart DD. ^-^

I'd love to have many other charcters from outside the mario universe join in and have a good time racing down the mario kart track!mit would be so much fun! We could have tails, or maybe knuckles. How about the final fantasy characters that have appeared in the mario sports games? Don't they deserve a chance to race in mario kart? I think that there are plenty of new roads down the line for mario kart, and we are in exciting times for the entire mario fancies as a whole. Nintendo has done a great job.

That be so awesome, but if they don't do this, perhaps the next Mario Kart should be called, "Mario Kart Universal GP!" And have lots of guests characters, it could have 30 racers in a race and pay a tribute, in that honor, to F-Zero aswell as have Captain Falcon lol cx it just be great to see characters like you see in Smash Bros.

It would be nice to have other characters other than Mario characters in Mario Kart. For example, Animal Crossing characters and even Link are already in Mario Kart 8. If Nintendo takes it a step further, they may make a Smash Ballot like the one for Smash Bros. I am sure many people would vote for Shrek and some others.

LOL Shrek, hahaha. Yeah I think it be cool if they get Pokémon in there, but it be cool to have third party characters in there, I know the game is called "Mario Kart" but hey that doesn't matter. They can add Sonic or 2 or 3 characters from All Star Racing. I really don't know, they should bring Pacman! Characters that are in the Mario Kart Arcade GP Series, even Tracks from there.

I'm not too sure Nintendo would just add in new characters from third-party developers so easily. Think of Super Smash Bros. It's a crossover game from many of Nintendo's franchises. It would easy to get some third-party support. But Mario Kart is... well, Mario. Maybe one or two people from Nintendo's other I.Ps but I can't really see them going and adding Pac-Man or Sonic in. At best, we got the Sonic Mii outfit using the Sonic amiibo.

That would be nice, but exactly like elchronic said, its not like 3rd party would go into Nintendo games, Sonic is a possibility but because of the costume, I think no 3rd party chracters will come in. Mario kart usually has Mario characters from the mario universe or in this case, nintendo characters. I hope in the future, more mk8 dlc and characters will be added, that would make mk8 even more awesome, I would buy the dlc I tell you!

Yeah, I see it difficult for characters from other franchises to make it into Mario Kart, I just say that there should be less Mario and more other Nintendo IPs at best, they should add Inking Boy and Girl from Splatoon! (If there aren't costumes already, cause if they are then I doubt it now. Also I don't have Mario Kart 8 so I wouldn't know. cx)

I really wasn't ever a fan of the idea of characters of other franchises being in Mario Kart, and after Link was announced as DLC, I was initially sort of annoyed by it. But I don't really care as much, as long as the number of non-Mario characters doesn't get to obnoxious. It will always always annoy me when fans ask for completely ridiculous characters like Goku or Peter Griffin. It's like, do you actually think a cartoon character deserves to be or even can be in a Nintendo racing game?
