Gurren Lagann

So Bleach English dub is ending this Sunday (finally), so I need a new anime and I heard a lot about Gurren Lagann, especially tat it has a good english dub which I always prefer. The thing is though, I'm not much of a gundam fan, with the most I've watched being Code Geass, so keeping that in mind is the show worth watching or should I just go for something else like Tokyo Ghoul or Psycho Pass?

Even if you're not a huge mecha fan, you'll still probably enjoy Gurren Lagann, as while there are mech battles throughout the series, the main focus is really on the characters and their growth. The best way I could describe Gurren Lagann is its essentially "anti - Evangelion", where realism is kicked to the curb and is replaced by a seemingly unlimited amount of optimistic energy, so if that at all sounds interesting to you, give it a watch.
