Have you guys ever felt that classic is not really Classic in smash bros 4? Guys who had super smash bros 1 and melee should know.

The release of super smash bros melee came with classic, adventure, and all star. When they said CLASSIC, they meant the 1-p mode in super smash bros 1.

With the release of smash bros brawl, it kept that same classic mode. Defeat opponents and move on.

Then there is smash bros 4 which call it classic, but in all honesty, its not classic. Diffrent paths which in my opinion calling it adventure would be a better idea than classic.

Now maybe it's a little diffrent but they changed it so its not "classic" anymore. I just watched the 50 facts for the smash wii u and they even made it worse! I bet you half of the kids born in 2005 or above don't even know what classic is. What do you guys think?
Btw sorry for the bad grammar. I'm typing this on my ipod and I'm to lazy to fix it

I'd split it 50-50. The roadways path thingys makes the game feel more adventurous and stuff but it's still the same concept of beat a level and move on.

The branching paths aren't really that important to me to make me want to call it something else. It's just a quick choice of whichever opponent you want to play against. Other than that just dishes out the same Smash gameplay except you get to face a special boss at the end - but yeesh, it doesn't seem bothersome to me that it's called Classic mode.

Per this entirely.
