Hardest 3d land level

I've been playing super Mario 3d land a bit and a few levels are hard for me
Mostly the special levels just because I'm using Luigi and his slide throws me off
So what's your hardest to beat level

Well Mario 3d land is a terrific game in which I don't remember I got that much of difficulty. Anyway I remember the last Bowser's Castle was a heck of a difficult level (I am talking about the first part of the game, by this part you don't get to unlock luigi yet.) But to me the hardest ones were those in which shadow mario ran after you and you had little or almost no time to beat the stage, those were hard.

I didn't get all much that difficulty with the game but I do remember when that dark Mario was chasing me on the ship and I was trying to get all the 3 stars now that was fun and thrilling and gave me some difficulty as well as bowser castle in the normal world.

In my opinion it is the level that you unlock by playing all stages with mario and luigi , getting gold flag in every level ,
getting every star coin and of cource bitting the game. The level that you unlock after doing these things is the hardest.

I am agree with you Jimmy
You cannot support all these conditions to unlock it
-Finish all levels with Mario and Luigi (You need to do all levels one more time)
-Get all star coins of levels (You can search a long time for some missing star coins)
-Get gold flag at EACH level (You really need to have tanooki to help you but if you lose it...)

And the level is very hard because
-You cannot found objects to help you in the level :(
-You need to get object by advance.
-If you fall or you lose your objects, you need to search again them
-You need a lot of lives to finish it one time

But this is motivating to play Super Mario 3d land a higher time than Super Mario 3d world (i guess)

This was all reasons why it is the hardest level

Some of the later Special worlds are brutal, in my opinion. For one thing, you can't continue to open new worlds unless you get a high number of the star coins on each previous level. So to say that the later levels are "easy" if you don't go for the star coins... well, that might be true, however, you're going to HAVE to go get those coins if you want to keep progressing.

I agree, it's really challenging because of the lack of platforms, there are no items, no 'helping' items like the golden leaf or golden raccoon suit or anything like that, however it is possible to get a golden leaf from a mystery box to complete it. But overall they really boosted up the difficulty with the special levels.

I wouldn't say that I have a difficult level in Super Mario 3d Land but all I can say is that any level where that stupid Shadow Mario would pop up I would really start to panic and all my thoughts revert to just finish the level !!! I am not really the type of person to enjoy this kind of stuff but it really does spice up some things as I still don's like games that are too way easy :)

The game in general is really easy if you have the tanooki suit. Without that suit though the game suddenly gets much, much more difficult. Just having the ability to float makes all platforming practically impossible for me to fail.

Super Mario 3d land is real awesome but some parts are way too difficult and boring.
completing all levels once again to get all star coins. In Special 8, you need to get many star coins and thats boring.
The stages I found diffult were the ones in which u have both the purple mario and the time shortage.

The level that you unlock after getting all star coins with Mario and Luigi is a pretty hard level, and many people don't know that level even exists. It took me few hours to beat the level as it's the hardest level in the game, but it was much easier than Grandmaster Galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy 2.

The hardest Super Mario 3D Land level is World 6-Airship. The first airship I land on features a few spiked pillars that launch at the ship. At the second ship, I find more spiked pillars, but inside, attempting to squish Mario. The third airship, like the second, has spiked pillars launching from the inside. This course was really tricky to pass.

That special level with a time limit and the giant shadow Mario chasing you ;-; ugh

It took me FOREVER to beat that one level where you have to beat the enemies on a moving, elevator-style platform. Eventually, there are spiked rolling balls and spikes along the walls and such. I believe it was a secret world level, but I don't remember which one. Does anyone know what I am talking about?

Well i remember the special 8 world was kinda crazy to say the least, that and special 7. If i recall correctly those ones were pretty loaded with quick time levels which often included shadow clones that would follow you from start to finish and duplicate your every move. I wouldn't be surprised if there are some people out there who absolutely hate those ones, i can understand them being kinda annoying since it's rather difficult to backtrack in these ones without taking the hit, like if you missed a star coin and tried to turn around you had to watch out an be careful not to bump the shadoe clone as if you did (like with a hundred other things lol) youd either die or lose your item, get small, etc. Going back in those kinda levels is not only annoying but also quite difficult and messy, especially for less skilled players or anyone new to mario. Im very experienced with mario games in general but i still know this type of level is a pain for some people out there. Even i got kinda tired seeing these kinda levels over and over, i wasnt mad or anything like that, it just got old and a bit tiring after a while and i wound up taking some breaks 100% 3d land.

If youre not finished with the special worlds, whatever you do dont let yourself get frustrated, theyre difficult and backtracking in them (especially later on) can be tough until you come up with something. This comes more easily for me than some, but if youre persistent and keep trying you will know what to do as you progress in them. Good luck though! :p

Yeah, i stopped working on that long ago enough that i almost forgot about that stage lol. :p i got there working together with some of my relatives, but none of us were able to do it and after a while we got tired of retrying the same levels over and over again (everything in crown world to keep it simpler) and we just erased the file just to have something different to do in game for a refreshing change of pace kek. We barely made any progress on those levels--the most that got done was either half the mystery box stars or less. Couldn't do the rest. Oh well :p

Like I said 999+ lives later but I did it and managed to get all three stars along the way. Never have I ever felt so proud of myself. It is not something to be taken lightly. Ah well, the salt can't be contained all the time agreed. :p

Yes very true, i have even heard of some gamers throwing their controller from frustration lol. I dont know anyone personally who has done it but i do recall some youtubers who claim to have done it before (though i dont recall on what) kek. I think zackscott did it in even under 100 lives which i personally find quite impressive, i dont know anyone who has done that or who might be capable of it.

Kinda feel a little embarrassed that i 100% 3d land on my 3ds but not 3d world on the wii u though! >~<
