Would any of you like to see a Harry Potter game for the Wii U or is it just me? They came out with a several Harry Potter games for the GameCube and Wii, but I haven't seen one for the Wii U. They made a quidditch game for the GameCube and I would like to see another one of them for the Wii U.

I'd like a remake of star wars epiode 1 racer. great game. but faces the same problem that harry potter does. Both Harry Potter and Star Wars Episode 1 are, for te most part, no longer relevant, as harry potter is Over andntting getting any more movies and books (im aware of the spinff movie thing to do with fantasticl beasts adwhere to find the, but its gonna havenothing to do with hquidditch)

I'd like to see a new game, maybe using the Fantastic Beasts and where to find them movie storyline or maybe even just an open world Harry Potter with the stories from all 7 books/all 8 movies. Then you could have your good Quidditch matches while having a deeper game. Trouble is, you have to find a developer who isn't afraid to use all of their resources on it.

I think the Harry potter fad has died down, so I highly doubt we will see any major games comes out. It be great to get like a skyrim type game but I highly doubt it will happen.

Licensed games are almost always terrible. I thanked my lucky stars when the Harry Potter video game series ended, because they butcher the story every time. And I was shameless enough to keep playing them until Goblet of Fire forced me to take a cold, hard look at what I was doing with my life. Playing Goblet of Fire is akin to suicide, only you still have to wait 70 years for whateveritisthat'sgonnakillyouanyway to help your body rejoin your soul.
A Quidditch game would be at least, 'eh, let's see what they made of it,' but not something everyone would rush out to buy on its day of release.
The best kind of game would be, ehrm, a well-developed Monster Hunter-style game set in the Harry Potter universe, with magic attacks and whatnot, released as a tie-in to the Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them film - monster hunting said fantastic beasts would be interesting, if the game was well-made.

The idea's that you guys have come up with so far have peaked my interest. I would actually like to see them brought to life. My question right now is, would Nintendo actually be able to make it work for the Wii U?

I would think a solid role-playing game would do good for the series. The problem is though, a game that just follows the story often flops on its belly. I don't really know why, but it simply does. Pretty much all movie-based games just go to small developers that will make a functional game, but not one that really competes with anything. It's just there if you want to play it.

I remember playing the first Harry Potter game for the PlayStation 1, where I liked them...
I had the chance to play the third game but it was quite bad >.>
I honestly don't want a Harry Potter game for the Wii U.

I like Spinnerweb's idea of maybe dealing with the monsters from the Harry Potter universe. Maybe seeing how many you can tackle or capture or kill or whatever. That wouldn't be bad. And it would be something different.

I can see Harry Potter being a big success for the Wii U. It has been a big success for other consoles so why not give the Wii U a chance? I think it will be only a matter of time before it will hit the Wii U. Many people will be buying it.

Perhaps the GBC game to the 3DS VC but that's it. There might not be a demand for older 3rd Party licensed titles for any systems and besides there aren't any more movies to make games from (although there might still be more books but The Giver has more of a chance for a videogame than HP for the time being). And like SpinJump said only if it is well made would someone want one but no one would want to at this point.
