Not sure about a western release yet but Japan is going to get a Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town remake for the Nintendo Switch in Japan on 17th October, 2019.

Anyone excited for this game to get the Switch remake?

If it has same sex marrage I might consider it. I've always been interested in harvest moon games, but never wanted to play as a guy, then stardew came about and that covered everything I wanted in a farming sim.

Idk, I think I still might just get stardew over a harvest moon game. Especially if it's just a remake and not something new.

Nah fam, Stardew4Life

Eh, I might consider it, but Stardew is probably way better than this game by far. Unless this game supports mods, and has the freedom to choose a same sex partner like @Sky said, and has literally anything that Stardew has, there’s really no competition.

The way I see it, farming sims are kinda boring. But Stardew lets you do so much more than just farm, like fishing, mining, interacting with people, getting married, betting at a casino, and more. And that’s why I think this game doesn’t have nearly as much potential.

I just bought the gba version too...looking forward to this still!

friends of mineral town/Back to Nature had all that stuff besides a casino and monster fighting, just more simplified. I personally like the characters and events more than the Stardew ones. events that happen overtime such as other characters paring up and another leaving town under circumstances. liked it more than recent harvest moon/story of seasons games.

I'm not really to hyped up about this one but I am looking forward to RF 4 tho. I thought they wouldn't even bother to put it on the switch since the company split. So I am kinda surprised about it and can't wait for it to come out but I hope they fixed the small problems that I had on the 3ds version of the game. They seem to be putting out a lot of good games recently .
