Spin Off Has Pokkén lost its fun?

When this game was out, I saw there was hype over the game, but now it seems to have died out quite a bit, since nobody has been talking about it, especially on this site.

What do you think, has Pokkén tournament lost its fun? Or do you still continue to play it and just don't talk about it much?
 
Yeah, I think it has. When people talking about the game coming out, their hype levels were REALLY high. Then when it came out, most people probably played it for a few days, and then just got really bored. That's what happened with me. So, I think pokken has lost its fun.
 
Yeah, just wait for a DLC and BOOM, problem solved. I study game development, and something my game designer teacher told me is that what kill fighting games easily is the lack of possibilities and options ( characters to be more specific). But yeah, Pokken can be brought back to life, we just need to know if they want it to.

To be honest I got the game really soon after it came out and everyone wanted to get it. Once it came out and people got use to it they began to realize that there is no fun in it anymore. It was fun once you tried out every character and beat a few people online. But know after months of release the game became kind of boring. They should add more new thing in the game.
 
It's just a thing with games in general. They tend to lose their appeal when they've been out for a bit, especially if there's other games that are coming out. Sure, the community may be hyped for a game when it comes out, but very rarely do games have the staying power needed to keep people coming back to it to prevent the game from dying.
 
I still play it all the time. There just isn't much left to say about it at the moment. But I'm sure it'll spark back up once we get some new content, which I'm sure will happen at some point. I haven't seen ANY recent fighting games that don't have DLC.
 
It still is fun but all the hype that came with x and y has pretty much died down a lot. The same could be said about Ruby and so on. I think the game just needs to have some new ideas added to them and I hope that sun and moon has those in them. After all this time I do think the game need a bit of s change so people are still able to get that same joy out of it from when they 1st started playing pokemon.
 
It's pretty fun but there's not much to do the storyline was very meh
That assistant girl was annoying asf
I think the hype was the graphics and the trailer of how cool they made shadow mewtwo look
But when you actually played it it was okay (5 outta 10 for me)
Well this is all my opinion
