Have any of you guys played both the 3ds version and the Wii U version of Super Smash Bros. 4? If so, can you tell me how the two games differ in terms of gameplay? I've heard some people say it feels different but never actually heard what was different of the two versions. Thanks for taking the time into reading this!

Unless somebody here found a way to go in the future, none of us actually tried SSB4 (It'll be out on October 3rd).
But in any case, there's not much difference in terms of game play between the two (according to Sakurai's Miiverse Posts + game footage), only a few trophies/assist trophies will be different, according to Sakurai.

The "difference" is just people's feeling about the game, depending on if they played Melee or Brawl before, they might find some of the mechanics different, that's all ;)

The most I can tell you is from the videos I've seen from E3 and the other events, and from there the only major difference I can see is the art with the dark outlines on the 3DS version. Other than that it looks like the same game through and through, and we really won't know till they're both released on how they're different and which one is 'better'

I was just talking about like the differences from e3, games com, pax demos. I probably should've been more specific, but thanks anyways!

People have played both versions of the game (if they attended e3 this year) so don't go hating on this guy :p I haven't played either as of yet, but from everything I've seen, I don't think they will differ incredibly.
