The battery in your game is dead. You can buy them off of Amazon, though.

I have it but haven't really played it.

o.o ok thanks for the advice and it didn't keep my progress *sob*

Same problem here the save file is corrupted though i don't even have a gba anymore I do not play pokemon crystal but I do play pokemon fire red , leaf green , emerald.

Played Crystal on a friend's Gameboy, but I stayed with Silver, since it was my first game. Experienced the same trouble as you when I got the Gold version, though. (Now, those games misses me...)

I've never played it but I've heard a lot of great things about it. I like how they decided to incorporate some of the elements of Crystal in HeartGold and SoulSilver though.

How do you play Fire Red, Leaf Green, and Emerald without a GBA.

you play it on ds lite

you play it on ds lite
eh I guess, but that only works for DS Lite. Starting with DSi they got rid of the GBA slot altogether so that restricted access to the Hoenn and Kanto remake games

I haven't played crystal yet. I was deciding weather to get crystal or gold. I choses gold because it was one of the two main games. It does suck when the battery dies and you can't save. You can get ones off eBay with new batteries.

I honestly never really played Pokemon Crystal . My sister did once tell me that it was a really great game but during those times , I really would rather stick to playing Pokemon Gold on an emulator on my computer . But I know that Pokemon Crystal was something cool :giggle:

I spent hours trying to look for shiny pokemon and trying to catch them 'all'. Crystal seemed like an improved version of a combined gold and silver. I liked the way the graphics looked and I loved the pokemon's animations. Crystal was a great game because it let you go to Kanto as well, and it let you fight Red! Crystal was also the first pokemon game I finished and I managed to catch 160 pokemon. :D

Crystal was the first game I ever played. And one of my most favorite ones too. I can't find my old copy though, really saddening. Playing it on emulator doesn't feel the same as having the actual game with me.

I have played crystal it's actually one of my favorite Pokemon games so I hope it starts working for you because it is a really great game and I like it so much so I hope it starts working for you and I think they will eventually make a new remake of Pokemon crystal and have mega evolution so for every dog Pokemon and I think that would be awesome mega suicune mega entei mega raiku and wait maybe even mega lingua and ho-oh oh come nintendo make this remake a two in one game jhoto and kanto but other regions to go to too this sounds so awesome!

I remember playing Crystal, Most of the time I would use Typhlosion as a Starter and I would always catch Jigglypuff as route 34 (Over by Goldenrod City) of course I tried different pokemon too (One time I had started out with a Chikorita and I never evolved it I just had it hold an everstone, It was so awesome)

It looks like an amazing game because you can explore 2 regions and capture lots of the pokemon from the first game. It was revolutionary. Also battling the protagonist from the first games probably blew many peoples minds. I never played crystal but I got soulsilver when that came out and had a blast exploring 2 regions. The first time I decided to surf from the starting town and talk to a random guy he told me I was in KANTO! My mind was absolutely BLOWN!!

I loved Crystal back in the day. Mine still works ^.^ It was a gift from my uncle when i was 4, along with my GBA. i started with Chikorita and it was all i used up until the Elite four, where i realised my mistake and so, with a level 96 Chikorita, I caught 5 more and trained them up to 50 odd to beat the 5 in a row trainer challange before heading to kanto. Kanto was completely new to me and the higher levels in the Johto E4 completely blew my mind at the age of 6! sadly, the price of batterys was pretty high. I wish for a remake of Crystal (not like HG/SS - just plain gold / crystal) for 3ds or so. would be amazing ^.^

Crystal is the like the Emerald of GameBoy Color.

The same could be said about Pokémon Yellow as well! Pokémon Platinum is like the Emerald Version of the DS. The only thing that bothers me is that why did they stop doing the 3rd version pokemon games?
