I seen many smash tourney videos to learn from the pros and ive observed that many of the losers raged and threw their controler. Hell, one even broke through the tv used in the smash tournies. And I admited, i raged alot back in brawl in subspace emissary. What is ur rage story? What made u unleash your final smash?

Ah I seen those I personally don't try to rage on games though I get very frustrated and become very intense in battle or switching to my main characters.

But I know my siblings get very scary and violent in Smash. I recall beating the three of them over and over again using Link, Pikachu, and Red (Pokémon Trainer). I noticed that they started to all charge at me at once but I would dodge or use an item. They actually managed to kill me several times.

Well once the match ended I still won somehow, and well one of them threw Wiimote at the wall and then stomped on it successfully making the plus pad come out. The other threw the Wii into the cul de sac. And the last one chased me around the house screaming like a monster of the night.

:chicken: Never again am I playing Smash or any other game with them.

I never rage. In fact, if I don't wanna play with someone, it's hard for me to leave the room, because I'm afraid the person I'm fighting would think I rage quit. I hate when people get all mad and sad and ticked and rage quit, and I don't wanna copy that behavior. Because, no one likes sore-losers :p

I generally try to be very cool and have gotten better (So I like to think) at controlling my rage. Considering it's cost me one 3DS, three GCN Controllers (One under a week old because it started inputting random junk), and a desk door, I really hope I've calmed down a lot. But I'm always mad at myself for something I did wrong, I've never felt mad at the opponent.

Sadly, despite the many, many, many, many, MANY hours I've spent playing smash, I still suck at it. Like really badly. And if someone repeadedly beats me over and over, I admit, I'll get extremely mad. Usually, I just tell them im leaving because of i stay, I'll lose my temper, and they just laugh it off. But SERIOUSLY JERRY FROM DOWN THE STREET, FIGHT ME IRL, ILL REKT YOUR BUM M8!!! LETS SEE WHO WINS IN A REAL FIGHT YOU SPAMMY DODGE ROLLING JERK!!

You can talk to people on Smash...?

No, I usually spend most of my time fighting pedians, and that's how I talk to them. If it's online, then I quit at the end of the match. But seriously though, I have over 600 hours in this game, and I'll fight some pedian who is playing smash for the first time ever, and they'll destroy me with all their stocks ;-; HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN?!?!?! HOW AM I THAT BAD???

Yep, I rage at classic mode.

if this mode didn't exist, my gamepad would still have the display working

Nah, I never rage at a game. I just swallow my disappointment and 'gg' the other guy :p If I lose really badly I change it to 'Congratulations.'

I rage at Classic mode because it almost forces be to use items or lose a stock to move on. I sometimes choke up at the Master Core version of my character even though it's really dumb AI trying to catch me when I drop my shield at the exact second or it won't let me put up my shield in time.

I also rage at lag against campy characters because they spam shield and projectiles and overall their skill does not determine the match.

I know the feeling. The spammers on For Glory aren't too bad - I can't really blame them since for inexperienced players Final Destination actually encourages that kind of nonsense - because, really, they're pretty easy to beat. Throw lag into the mix and they become a bit more of a problem.
Playing Ganon under these circumstances is outright suffering.

I find myself getting routinely furious at Crazy Orders too. In the first few months I thought 9.0 Master Core's dog form being totally untelegraphed and just throwing out attacks instantly was the worst thing in the game, but as soon as I got used to it, it became clear that Crazy Orders is by far the worst. Sometimes it'll actively cheat and spawn explosives right in the path of your smash attack in progress. Other times your teammates will grab the Bob-omb that just dropped as you're fighting with an opponent and then toss it directly at you. Other times the Hands will just decide they don't feel like giving you a chance to breathe and they'll just combo you into oblivion and ruin a fantastic 30+ run.

I hate Crazy Orders.

I won't lie. I've had my share of rages when playing Smash, but most of my experiences stem from online play and not from playing with friends locally. I'm sure we can all agree that playing Smash Bros Brawl online was a very "fun" experience to say the very least.

People used to gang up on me when I played Smash often, and that apparently made me really angry. Used to cuss quite a bit because of that.

Oh,the sad memories of occasional rage in Smash.Back in Brawl,I usually tend to go angry whenever I lost at a high difficulty in Classic Mode or Boss Rush mode, and now in the new game,I often avoid myself to play online with random people that'll keep taunting me whenever they beat me without letting me do anything at all.One day perhaps, there was this Little Mac user that taunted me endlessly, and within three matches, even with the factor that I said "Good_Game!" to him,he called me an annoying noob that needed pratice.I didn't get too mad at that, because that was my first opponent in For Glory on that day,but I just had to report that mischievous type of offending behaviour, even if I'm not perfect at the game. :writing:
Players who fight effortsly with fighters and ones who don't even let me attack once also don't get me in a very comfortable feeling.
Classic Mode on 8.0 to 9.0 is still a chore to pass through too. :(

I don't rage or anything like that in smash because if you just lose from someone so bad that you have a reason to get mad for and rage then thats how you know you can get better and maybe as good as they are to who you lost from as long as you practice youll be fine and thats why i dont rage in smash because there is no reason too because they were good so it gives you confidince to get better too!

I don't really rage in Smash =P When I'm in a really competitive mood tho, I sometimes say stuff to myself about the other person like "You wanna play that game, huh?", "Spammer", etc :p It's weird, :bag:

Everyone is lying. Nobody cant rage in this game. If anyone losses they become so dang salty. This game is made from salt and will always be. There are so many tournament videos of people throwing their controllers on the floor and some screaming and some even trash talking to their opponents and running out of the room lol. If you play highly competitive like me and do ladder and local tourneies you will know

Well, of course. Only the ragers get videos uploaded. No one would watch a video titled 'Peaceful Smash gamer says gg after losing.'
I don't think competitiveness has a lot to do with it.

I never unleashed my Final Smash since I always play with items off, but anyway.

The day I raged was a day when we were a lot of people playing on a Wii U. Some people came with nothing in hands. I came with 2 GC Pads (and 1 3DS) so that we had controllers to share. Well, they still decided that the winners of each match would play with a Wiimote for the next match. I should have lost on purpose instead of finishing amongthe two first...

Well on the next match, I was the first one to lose all my stocks (the other guy who had to play with a Wiimote was at least used to play with a Wiimote, but I don't even own a Wii nor a Wii U so the Wiimote is not only stupid for Smash but also a controller I can't use for anything).

I can tell you that if it had been my own Wiimote, I would have smashed it on the ground to be able to play with one of the two GC Pads I caringly brought for the others to play with while they were too selfish to even bring a controller for themselves (three of them were excused since they didn't own any Nintendo console, but once again, I brought 2 GC Pads, and one of my friends had 3 of those too).

Usually i don't get mad but if is something so competitive that i go rage but unlike most people who throw controllers to the screen or to a wall, i just turn the console off and watch some YouTube videos or just take a break on electronics for an hour or just use one of those tricks, have a nice relaxation bath.
