Heavy Slam or Gyro Ball Steelix?

For a Steelix, which move will me more viable between heavy slam and gyro ball?

It's XY so I don't have a megastone to use Mega Steelix (not sure if that's heavier which affects things).

If I go the gyro ball route, I'll most likely be using a nature that reduces speed with 0 IV in Speed as well, so that gyro ball can do as much damage as it can. But does heavy slam dish out more damage because of its heavy weight?

Using Mega Aggron instead works too XD

Heavy Slam is ussualy the preffered option, Gyro Ball needs at least one Curse to start doing more than Heavy Slam, but it is generally inferior because it has fewer PP.
