ok people, I reeeeeally need your help.
My friend challenged me to play on pokemon showdown. The thing is, I'm a gym leader, so I can only have one type of pokemon (I chosed psychic).
The rules are:
- no legendaries
- max lvl
- 1 mega

I need help to make my team, if it was you, what would you do?

My current team is
-metagross
- espeon
-alakazam
-gallade (I was thinking about using this mega)
- delphox
-malamar

What do you think is the best moveset for each one of them, and which pokemons should I change?

Please, it's really important, and the fight is tomorrow..................

Unlike most types, there are so many psychic type legends that when you take away the legends, the type loses it's diversity, but that said, change zam for a defensive bro with t-wave and espeon for Gardevoir; use a stall breaker build and give someone reflect. Throw a Choice Band on Malamar and give it Topsy-Turvy. I think you'll get some utility out of that.

You could probably also use a defensive magic bouce xatu with tailwind over gallade, and run mega garde, the extra bulk and power could be appreciated. And as far as stallbreaking goes, try this:
gardevoir-3.gif

Kimiko (Gardevoir) @ Safety Goggles
Ability: Trace
EVs: 208 HP / 252 Def / 48 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Will-O-Wisp
- Moonblast
- Taunt
- Calm Mind

Feel free to ditch the name, and if mega, you can actually keep moonblast and ditch CM for another move if you please. Trace let's you counter a lot of extra things that would be a problem as well, like Heatran, too. And it also has the potential to be a Reflect setter. If you run the mega, mod it's speed to sit at 263, or drop it back to 244.

There's always the option of not running a mega as well.

Well, first lets take the bad stuff

Espeon, Delphox and Malamar need to go, they are bad

Technically, Mew, Victiny and Hoopa are not legendaries, but rather Mythical... if that doesn't convince you, you can try switching some Pokémon around

Source for good MonoPsychic teams

Search down until you find the "Psychic" folder

Thaannk yooou guys, I will use that information and try to get it better.
This is kinda difficult for me, I rather prefer using a random team XD but I really apreciate that you didn't ignore ^^
If eventually I need something else, I'll ask later, okii?? :*

Ok, I'm supposed to use only "regular" pokemons, and not mythical as well, but my friend agreed that I used a Victini, and he's going to use a Genesect... Do you think it's worth to use mythicals?
Oh, something I forgot to say, his team is also monotype, and it's supposed to be his advantage, but is probably steel, hm? I also have to focus on that.....

Use them.

Omg I'm so scared XD he's gonna crush me, but ok.... XD

It's all in how you play it. Despite it's many weaknesses, it's a very strong type.

Change of plans, he just changed his type, so now I have no idea what he's gonna use.... He told me he could't say what's his mythical, but his team is not impressive. Well, let's see how things go :) I really appreciate your help guys, I knew I could count on you
