Ok, so I got i got the song from the monkey on the cage, that lets you open woodfall temple or something. However, I spent a lot of time in clock time before trying getting the song so I only have just under one day left. I don't think that I can clear the temple in one day (as I have never played the original so I don't don't what I am doing).

If I go back in time, can I just go to the temple and open it up, or do I have to do the monkey quest again? Or the quest to get the boat ride again?
Also where is the temple? I can't really find it anywhere?

Okay , first of all , once you learn the Song of Awakening , you will forever know it . no need to do the Monkey Quest thing . I played the original and the Temple would only take probably just 1 day .

Edit : Oops wrong info . You get to the temple through the secret route from inside the Deku Palace , then you'll continue on the red flower things . You'll probably have to do the Bote Ride quest if you didn't get the song of soaring
