I went to check on my 3ds not so long ago, and it won't turn on.

If it makes a popping noise pop open the back and fix the wire that's out of place or slide the metal plate back in to place. You need a 000 Phillips screw driver

Did you try turning it on while charging? You may have just ruined your battery and probs just need to replace it. Hard to tell you what to do if you don't give details
