I was playing 3ds while i came on here and i noticed that my mouse messed up, I tried turning off the computer(and 3ds to see if it would fix it but nope) I think that the 3ds puts out a signal that messes up the touchpad on a laptop. have any of you guys had this happen before?

(my computer is a windows 8 acer aspire)

If tuning of your 3ds doesn't fix the problem I am pretty sure the problem is not your 3ds. When did you last change the batteries of your mouse?

I've also experienced many problems with my Touchpad before... Although I never thought my 2ds would be the reason. I still highly doubt that's the case. It's possible that a lot of CPU being used causes lag, or running too many tasks does that too, but I'm still not sure why my touchpad sometimes messes up.

My touchpad gets messy when it's wet (after showering and stuff) or when I accidentally touch it while using it (so that it gets signals from two places at once)

It hasn't happened to me at all, and I usually play with one hand while doing something on my computer :p But the problems with my touchpad are very real, but I can't find a connection with that or my 3ds

I don't think that your 3ds is the problem , it may be just as DeathDragon said and I wouldn't suppose the touchpad has any transmitting signals so it may be other factors ; maybe the temperature can be it or the hardware may be the problem but it just can't be the 3ds :p

thanks for the input guys the only other thing i think it could be is personal magnetism :p. But i still think it is something to do with 3ds because it only happens when i am holding or touching the 3ds and the laptop at the same time, never else.

Nope, it definitely can't be your 3DS since your computer's touchpad/mouse uses a physical connection to transmit/receive input. Where 3DS uses wireless to communicate (apart from the screen and buttons of course).

So, maybe your mouse/touchpad is getting old, or maybe something's wrong with your laptop/computer.
