The scent of blood and strangely flowers was throughout the town. Corpses everywhere. You were one of the "lucky" survivors in this incident. A lead escorted the princess ahead in the swarm of people. The guards escorted you all to travel carriages. The village was on fire and so was the memories of that day.

(I hate the message system I have to refresh the page when I get one to even be notified *sniffle*)

I knew that life just changed and not for the better. On the disaster scale, I wasn't sure where exactly it was sitting but I was pretty sure it was sitting in between "Nuclear Fallout" and "An Unknown Virus has been Spreading".

I had only managed to grab my pocket knife before my house burned down and honestly, the whole thing wasn't registering for me. It never occurred to me that everyone I knew had perished in the flames. It felt so surreal.

As I was being boarded up onto the carriage I gagged on the smell of blood that wafted through the air. I wondered for a moment where they were taking everyone but honestly, anywhere else would be better.

Only so many people were by your side though, mothers held their babies protecting them from any strangers or danger and kids refused to play seeming scared. The town was in shambles that was for certain...

But the royal family wasn't known for their generosity. How many of these mothers would get shelter eith their families? How many of us? Wouldn't it be better to break away and head alone for somewhere where we wouldn't have to fight over food in relief camps?

The princess yes you saw her help out her people she wasn't the cruel king or queen she tried her best.

The problem was that the princess had a huge wart on her face, and people just couldn't trust someone as ugly as her. Only the fear of the guards kept them marching on.

Some people said it was because of a curse placed on her by the coven of witches that lived in the uncharted areas of the map, while others were like. "Dude. It's a wart. She lost the gene lottery okay."

Despite this wart she was beautiful on the inside."There." She closed her eyes happily and smiled.
