how do I get Minecraft mods without winrar or 72zipper

So currently I wanna get the too many items mod but you need winrar which downloads a virus to your computer called vostrean and I was wandering can you pass getting winrar

You could try getting 7zip since that's Freeware and afaik there are no viruses if you download from 7zip's main website. If a virus is your main concern then why not try downloading Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (one of the best) to scan your pc.

You could also download WinRar and use that since it has a prettier GUI but don't download from mirror site and the like if you're worried about the files coming with viruses, always download from the main site.

I don't think I needed anything special. Although I might have used elite unzip. I don't use too many items though because it's not compatible with my other mods.

You could use the Technic Launcher @ http://www.technicpack.net/, and the download page is here http://www.technicpack.net/download. Also it has cool mods like Aether, Aether II, Tekkit and Galacticraft. It also does little packs with only 1-3 mods, like for example DC VS Marvel Superheroes, Too Many Items Mod just look up what you want on their website, copy the url and in the new Technic Launcher game you use, click in the search for modpacks you have and the paste that url you have and then click download on the little description that comes up on the right, easy as pie.

Just do what TheDwarvesCarst said and download the TechnicPack. Their launcher takes care of all the dirty work for you and downloads their pre-bundled set of mods for each flavor of Minecraft that you want to play. Plus, you don't need a separate account to use it, you just need your Mojang account. It's pretty awesome.
