How do you play?

I'm curious to see how most people play Pokemon these days.

Do you play to catch them all?

Do you play to be competitive?

Do you play to run threw the game for fun.

I personally play just for the fun of it, but wouldn't mind playing a bit competitive, not like pro just more of a skilled battle setting.

I would say that I like to play Pokemon games competitively but not too much as sometimes I just like playing for fun. I never will be able to catch them all because that is very much impossible in so many cases so I would say that I would want to catch them all but I am not able to

I used to play it mainly for the fun of completing the main storyline, but I never focused on completing the National Pokedex, since for me it was pretty much impossible.

Nowadays, I'm more into Competitive Battling, especially since IV Breeding and EV Training is so much easier in Gen VI, plus it's fun to battle people over the world with your special set of Pokemon. The National Pokedex is still hard to complete though.

I tend to play as all 3. I like trying to catch them all or at least attempting to and failing. I like competitive because I like raising them and it's worthwhile to see that caterpie own everything that ever existed in the universe. Somtimes I like playing just for fun and owning everyone with mega rayquaza

Well sometimes i tend to try to catch them all that you can find in the designated pokemon game and sometimes i just play for fun trying to earn BP and trying to raise up certain powerful pokemon to put in my party.

I'm terrible at competitive so I decided to become a collector. That means; get one of each pokémon, if there are multiple variations; get them all (with pokémon like Spinda; just get many) and try to get a shiny of each (though that is a secondary goal). Another one is that I try to train ALL my pokémon to level 100. I also like pokémon in weird pokéballs (Flabébé in a masterball) but I prefer to create those myself over trading.

If I tell you guys truth I play for competitive battle, to cacth them all and for fun also but now days I mostly play for competitive battle as it's fun to battle with other people. All over I mostly play for fun

Well I just got ORAS yesterday and its the first pokemon game I've ever played aside from emulators. Right now I'm just playing for fun and taking my time but I'm a completionist so probably going to try and catch all the pokemon in the game after I beat it

Well with the help of some Pedians it's actually pretty doable.

I try to make a competitive team, but I have no luck. Getting perfect ivs, nature and Hidden Ability is just TOO time consuming. I am gonna try to catch all pokemon I can find, which I guess excludes all other event pokemon though...

I used to play just for fun and now I play competitively and to catch them all sometimes. I guess competitive play is really fun as well because now you go through the painfull work, it is fun to win and see team matchings and put your hard work to play!
