I myself am NOT trying to figure out how to pronounce but rather know how you personally would say it.

Well some people say it like Pokiemon. Some people say it like Pokėmon which is the correct way to pronounce Pokemon. I pronounce Pokėmon the correct way while others can't see the apostrophe.

So does that mean it is pronounced po[KAY]mon or po[KUH]mon or are both of those right.

Poke-A-Mon

Thank you

I think that I really do call it " Poke - E - Mon " mostly because it sounds more correct than other ones that I have heard . I'm not sure that I've heard anyone say Poke - A - Mon but I guess that everyone is entitled to their own opinions . Still I think majority will say Poke - E - Mon :p

The usual way the one everybody says causally is Poke-E-Mon because it is more easy going to say and listen to :p

The actual way to say Pokemon is Poke-É-Mon :/ It is the way Japanese people say it and intended English purpose but whatever :p

The actual way to say it is Pokémon not Poke-a-mon that's wierd. Some people in my country say Pokimon which is very annoying. And it's not pronounced Poke-mon either because there's an apostrophe on the e.You don't say Pokuhmon either now that's just...stupid.In my opinion it's Pokémon not Poke-ee-mon.Its like saying Poke eh except without the "h".Not ee its e.

I pronounce it Po-ke-mon, without accentuating the 'ke'. It's a strange word to pronounce as there are many different accepted ways. :p

I say you can say it however you want. I personally say it poh-kee-mon though.

this question's answer is dependent on speach and lanuage. Pokemon can be pronounced in several different ways.
Poke-ee-mon
Poke-eh-mon
Poke-uh-mon
Poke-ee-man
Poke-ee-mun
those are all they ways i have heard it been said

The number of people calling the accent above the e an "apostrophe" is astonishing.

I personally say Poke-ee-mon but don't really stress the "ee" part at all. I think it sounds less forced than "Poke-ay-mon." Also I call it Pokermanz a lot when talking with my brother.

I guess I never really thought about, but now that I'm saying it out load I say it pok[KEE]mon. Although I have said it like pok[AUY]mon and sometimes when talking fast I'll say poke-mon, like the word poke then mon. I never would have thought about it. The more and more I say it the more and more I don't know, but I guess it dosent really matter.

I never given it much thought (and now I'm sitting here pronouncing the name of the anime/game trying to figure out how I say it) to it but I usually say Po·[KAY]·Mon, I guess it's because I watch the Japanese version a lot.

Though how others pronounce is better than how my nana says it. She doesn't even call it Pokémon! She calls it 'Gotta catch em Pikachu'.

I usually say Poke-Uh-Mon. Sometimes I say Poke-Ay-mon too though.

Personally, I don't think it really matters which pronunciation is correct, as long as the person knows shat you are talking about. People are entitled to their opinions, no need for flaming. :3

(I'm not saying anyone IS flaming. Just saying that in case people take 'entitlement to opinions' the wrong way. I've seen it happen :/ ) <--Talkative. :3

In my country we pronounce it as Poh-ke-mon. ("Po" from Po the Kung Fu panda, "ke" like ketchup, and "mon" like monster) It's slightly different from the English pronunciation I guess.

I pronounce Pokémon how normally would in Spanish: "Po-keh-mon", stressing the "é". It's a more natural pronunciation for me, however I do pronounce it as "Po-kee-mon" from time to time.

It's pronounced as Po-keh-mon, and I say that too. >.< But everyone pronounces it different, I mostly hear Pok-ee-mon. :p
